Tried a variety of dishes here and overall the experience was average, nothing that gave a real “wow” factor, but it wasn’t disappointing either.
Gongura Chicken Biryani – 7/10: Decent flavor, the gongura tang was present but could have been more pronounced.Mutton Vijayawada Biryani – 6/10: Average taste, mutton was okay but lacked that authentic spice kick.Gongura Veg Biryani – 4/10: Didn’t really work for me; flavors felt mild and underwhelming.Dragon Chicken – 8/10: The best dish of the lot crispy, spicy, and well-seasoned, definitely worth trying. They also had a Buy 2 Get 1 Biryani offer, which was actually a good deal and added value to the meal.
The staff were attentive, polite, and helpful, which made the dining experience better. Service was prompt and courteous.
Overall: Good place for a casual meal, but if you’re looking for standout or memorable flavors, it may fall a bit short.

When I say this is the BEST Indian in the area- I am speaking from a place of personally trying every Indian restaurant surrounding and then some. They are so consistently good, always delicious, and we look forward to ordering once a week every. single. week. You all at Mama Eatz make our week!!! GREAT JOB!! <3

I’m really disappointed with my recent orders from Mamaeatz. I purchased Haleem (12 oz) for $15, but nearly 4 oz was just bones, leaving very little actual Haleem. For the price, the quantity and value were not worth it.

This is the second time I’ve had this experience. Earlier, I ordered the Sankranthi veg thali for $20. The portions were extremely small—about 2 oz each—and the chicken bundle had only around 4 oz of chicken. On top of that, all veg thali items were packed together in a single to-go box instead of being packed separately, which affected the overall quality and presentation.

Overall, the quantity feels misleading and the taste was only average. Please improve portion sizes, packaging, and value for money. Sharing this review so others are aware.

Good restaurant with less lighting looked very dull while entered. Snack items also available. Live Chats like pani puri, other chats available. Food is good here.

I recently dined at MamaEatz and had the pleasure of trying their Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani and Triveni Chicken Biriyani. Both dishes were quite enjoyable and had a rich, authentic taste. The Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani was flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice and tender pieces of meat. The Triveni Chicken Biriyani offered a unique blend of spices that made it stand out.

While the food was very good, it didn’t quite reach the level of perfection for a 5-star rating. Nevertheless, MamaEatz is a great spot for biriyani lovers looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The ambiance and service were also commendable, adding to an overall pleasant dining experience. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Please stop going to this restaurant it’s completely waste of money and completely not worthy. I ordered the Chicken Ghee Roast Biryani for my sister since she was traveling to India. She ate it and said the biryani had no real flavor—it was just overpowering spice with no balance.

Unfortunately, after eating it, she ended up with an upset stomach and loose motions, which made her travel really uncomfortable and completely disturbed her journey. That’s not something anyone should have to deal with, especially while traveling.

Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Save your money and choose somewhere better.

We’ve tried the breakfast buffet on weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place has improved in ambience and food quality compared to past years! Hope they stay consistent!

Thalapakati Biryani and Adengappa Chicken Biryani are really tasty, but the portion sizes are smaller compared to other places. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but the flavor makes it worth trying if you’re craving something authentic.

Definitely one of my top picks for indian food in metro detroit. They seem to be predominantly Andhra style indian cuisine. It’s delicious. Their lunch thali during the week is a great deal, its cheaper to go but I recommend eating it in house.
Check out their brunch options on the weekend and their tea time experience after 5. This place is a treat and has been consistent.
