Loved the vibe at Mamacitas.
The service was great from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and relaxed in the best way. The food from Mamacitas next door was amazing, which made the whole experience even better.
Whether you’re sitting at the bar or grabbing a table, this place just works. No pressure, no nonsense — just good energy and a space that actually feels like Hollywood Beach is supposed to feel.

Hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. My family and I stopped here because it’s right by the beach, but I wish we had never walked in. Before we even ordered, I needed to use the restroom urgently. The waiter saw me and immediately acted like I was doing something wrong. He questioned why I was there and then started raising his voice, saying the restroom was “for paying customers only.”
I explained — calmly — that my family was already seated and waiting for me, and that I was on my period and needed to use the restroom. Instead of showing a basic level of human decency, he literally shut the door in my face and told me to get out. The level of disrespect was unbelievable. His attitude toward women was painfully obvious — aggressive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
After witnessing his disgusting behavior, we refused to order anything. No one should support a place where staff openly mistreat women and show zero compassion or manners.
If you’re a woman — especially if you value respect and safety — avoid this place. They clearly don’t want your business, and they definitely don’t deserve it.
