First time having lunch at Mamacita’s in Plattsburg, MO. Atmosphere is vintage. Food was delicious. Serving size was ginormous!

Pros: Locally owned, small business. The building is historical and has great potential for a unique place!
The service was excellent- everyone was kind and attentive. We got takeout and our food was ready exactly on time.
Cons: Unfortunately, the food really sticks out like a sore thumb here. We ordered street tacos and an enchilada- both with carne asada. The rice was pale, and very bland. The beans were thick and hard, and… tasted like they were cooked with a cigarette butt? The enchilada was perfectly acceptable. The street tacos were a little dry, but doable. I really hope that we just went on an off night.
Really, I would give this place more of a 2.5 star rating.

Great food. Could use a little background music going but to be fair they are in the beginning stages of operation. But the truly important part is the food I have ordered take out 3 times now and I have been pleased. The beans and rice are pretty boiler plate nothing special there but good. The rest of the food however has been amazing! I love the fried avocado meal and my wife is fond of the quesadilla meal. The chips and salsa are among the best I can recall having in some time. Definitely eat here!!
