This review is long overdue, but it’s something I’ve been meaning to write ever since my maternity leave started. I hosted my baby shower here, and it was truly everything I dreamed of. Younes and Rodolfo went above and beyond — they opened the restaurant before dinner hours and gave me the freedom to decorate to my heart’s content.
The space itself is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the service was nothing short of amazing. The chef even created a custom cake that perfectly matched my theme!
I’m so grateful to the entire team for helping me create such a special day to share with my friends and family. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for office parties, celebrations, or any special gathering. The team truly embodies genuine hospitality and knows how to make every guest feel valued. What really stood out to me in this restaurant was their warm hospitality and excellent service-the staff were truly top notch. I also really enjoyed their hot chocolate, which was delightful.
As for the food, I didn’t find it to my taste, but I think that’s more a matter of cultural differences and being so used to the cuisines from back home rather than anything wrong with the quality itself.
Overall, a wonderful place with great service and atmosphere. I would especially recommend it if you’re open to exploring different flavors.

We tried this Italian/Mediterranean spot (pizza, pasta, focaccia, etc.) with a large group, and it was a great experience. The service was attentive from start to finish, with a reserved area set up just for us and prepared with real care. The team was warm, welcoming, and efficient, which made the whole evening feel easy and relaxed. And the food delivered too: delicious, comforting, and generous. A perfect place if you want great food and genuinely thoughtful hospitality, especially when dining as a group. Reservation recommended !

The fish and its sides were perfectly cooked. I didn’t even need the sauce. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and fantastic. The pizza was also great. Tangy tomato sauce, creamy cheese, and crisp chewy crust.

The decor is a stunning mix of elegance, cozy and warm atmosphere. I have been here multiple times, and every time it’s an amazing experience all around. This last time we celebrated our wedding anniversary, and it was a perfect choice. The food is always fresh, both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is super friendly, happy to help and polite.

Tucked away between the Varambré and Vermont areas of Geneva just north of the city centre, Mama & Zita is a great Italian venu with a cozy and family friendly interior along with a wide outdoor terrace. The staff were super friendly and attentive which made for a great dining experience.
They also offer Mediterranean inspired dishes in addition to the Italian classics and a wide range of pizzas. Everything is elegantly presented, fresh and super tasty.
In keeping with the Italian spirit, I started with an apérol spritz while waiting for dinner, followed by the house red wine which was full bodied, with a pronounced nose and a very pleasant lasting aftertaste which accompanied the meal very nicely. I started with the ‘fondant’ eggplant appetiser covered in tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. As its name suggests, the eggplant was melt in your mouth. I followed with the linguine alle Vongole with the pasta and clams perfectly cooked – just terrific. I finished with a classic tiramisu served in an expresso cup for dessert, which was accompanied by a cannoli pastry.
There are so many other specialties on the menu that I can’t wait to taste. Well worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood. I know I will definitely be back.
