The lady who took my order was very friendly. She guessed what I was going to order, so I suppose the fufu and egusi is very popular. The food itself was warm and carefully packaged. The fufu doesn’t have much taste, but the spicy goat egusi was very flavourful and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and I believe it was worth the price.

I’ve ordered online from this restaurant a long time ago and everything was great but tonight when I came in person at the mall the portions were terrible!! literally barely half of the container of egusi. I never wrote a Google review. However, this wasn’t good. I am a big foodie, I wanted to try some Egusi stew and fufu for my first time but it was quite bland, and tasted old too. If I would have known I would’ve just went to olive garden. 23 dollars wasn’t worth this neither. I genuinely don’t wanna come back here for their food. Also they dont fill their drinks all the way. There is a reason why they have a lot of one stars reviews. Another thing is they have their food everywhere and lids and pots just sitting there. We asked if the food was fresh and the lady said they always served fresh food. This wasn’t the case unfortunately old and tasteless. I wasn’t even the one who paid for it but I wouldn’t come here again for the food. Thank you for reading.

I have never had Nigerian food before this and it was so delicious that I am searching for other places where I live. The spicy egusi and salmon hit the spot. I also loved the drink that starts with a “z” but can’t remember the name. We sampled the rice and next time I’ll get that too. The staff was friendly and patiently answered all my questions. I liked that they gave samples too because I would have had no idea what to get.

Imma just say this… if they aren’t African it ain’t even worth the drive… I literally drove two hours for this mess I called multiple times to assure they had okra stew I get here she had enough for a half a four oz container that was reheated in the microwave… my egusi was just warm I’m pretty sure in the temp danger zone… the goat was tough as jerky… now I’m waiting 15 mins for okra… I’ve been to the location when it was a restaurant which is why I took the time to come here… I’m so disappointed in this mall service mess… it’s definitely fallen off since I had it last… I won’t be back I promise

This was hands down one of the most disgusting restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
The food was completely unacceptable. The chicken was ice cold in the middle, tasted old, and was clearly not freshly prepared. Several items were undercooked, and the overall flavor was terrible. This is not just about taste — it’s a serious food safety concern.
The service was just as bad. When I politely brought the issue to the owner and asked for a refund because the food was undercooked, she laughed and refused to take the situation seriously. No apology, no accountability, no attempt to make it right.
Because of how unsafe the food was, I will also be looking into reporting this to the health department/food inspectors. No one should be served food in this condition.
If you care about your health or your money, do not go to this place. This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced and I will never return.

What made it worse was the service. I paid $4 for a drink, and when I asked for it to be filled, the employee told me the owner instructed her not to fill it up. That means I was expected to pay full price for a cup that was only halfway filled. That is ridiculous and greedy.
The owner’s attitude is a nightmare and the way this place is being run is completely unprofessional. Between the unsafe food and how customers are treated, this establishment should seriously be looked into.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

I’ll never go back and I ate here about 3 times really neither times was pleasant I’m always trying to give people a chance 2cd time I found something really sharp in my food that cut my mouth …( I craved this taste of equsi ) this last time the black lady told me I look tired and I wasn’t just agreed I guess she thought I was dumb or something had the nerve to give my food with bearly any food in the bowl it was literally 3 slices of beef not even chunky a slice like a Pepperoni before I walked off I notice my bag was extremely light for it to be Equsi and fufu and there was nearly any food in there and for $22 NOT WORTH THE PORTION you get more fufu then the actual dish !! my thing is tho what are you being so stingy wit the food for???! NOBODY Buys anything from here always no line dry and empty … and she remembered me from all the other times I came and gone say since you always come I’ll just add more food because YES I TOOK IT BACK AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY back she didn’t want to give my money back and added more food which was still very small lol I’m assuming because I kept coming back she was gone give me less food so I’ll come back and pay for another bowl well now you just LOST a customer FOREVER I’ll never eat here again I’m very spiritual she gave off fake sneaky and conniving some about her is not right the way yall make the food all sloppy in the back that’s why it was something in my food the 2cd time I came here and I have those pics with the sliver sharp thing in my food I will be uploading now my man already threw away the one that had less food I wish I got a pic before even taking it back to her these are from my previous visits I also got a drink before which was good butt ….. yea the one that looks full and good was my 1st time I also had that drink the food was all cold but I warmed and like it so I continued to go …. Won’t happen again tho

West African/Nigerian food. Love that there’s something new. The hand pies with the chili sauce are good but my favorite is the plantain fries with chicken and beef. Yummy! I really like their hibiscus, pineapple ginger drink too. Definitely going back. Thanks for the new experience!
