If I could rate it lower I would. I keep giving this place a chance because our family has been coming here for decades. Over the years the quality in food and service has declined severely. Just this evening I go to pick up my togo order and I’m missing two soups, and there is about absolutely no sauce on the order of raviolis. See how disappointing they look below. Is this supposed to be some kind of art piece? I call and complain and they ask if I want to pick up the soups. No I’m already home settled in it’s 8:30 pm?! I complain about barely any sauce on the raviolis and all I’m told is I’m sorry I’ll tell the owner. No comp the next time we dine in? No free app next time we come in? Nothing. This place doesn’t care and it shows in their service and food do not waste your time you can get much better service and Italian food elsewhere in the City. These raviolis are a joke lmao

We have been going to Mama Vesuvio’s East for several years and found out from a friend that they have an amazing banquet hall. We talked to Gino and Dale, the owners about having our wedding reception there. The pricing was very reasonable, the food was outstanding, and the banquet hall was breathtaking. They have a hand painted mural covering two walls that is an excellent backdrop for pictures. We couldn’t have been anymore happier with the staff, the service, the food, and drinks. We highly recommend this awesome family-owned establishment for any or all occasions. Gino and Dale, you are the best! Thank you for helping make our wedding day unforgettable.

There is something about Mamá Vesuvio’s Italian cooking!
I must say. I was hesitant about going to this restaurant. The love of my life said so that I would like it. Wait. Love it! The two pictures that I posted are of pasta. Yummm!! All the original flavors, pasta cooked al dente, plus RC. What a combination. It was so taste, plus the portions are HUGE! I mean. I did not leave hungry. I left feeling like a barrel or rum. Full and satisfied. The ambient is great for family, dates, plus parties. I was very impressed, and by far will be coming back for seconds. I am not a family member. I will say. I want to come back for more and enjoy the family recepies!!! There is plenty of parking plus wait is resanable as soon as they open. Come hungry. I mean it!

Phenomenal amazing Italian food! Homemade sauces that are incredible! Great customer service.. Great hostesses, great servers, bartenders and busboy service! And they also have fun bocce ball! There’s also bands and the outdoor garden is cool. Great place for a date night, family, or an event! I’ve been here in the past but came recently and it never disappoints. So very good!

Out of all the places to consider for Valentine’s Day, we chose Mama Vesuvio’s. The meal was wonderful. The waitstaff was good. My only issue was that the bill was several dollars more on each item than what was stated on the menu. One item could be a mistake, all of them is just not right. Not worth worrying about, we just will have to have a really good reason to consider coming back.

Overall great experience. Loved the pizza , service was good . Pink lady drink wasn’t on the menu but they went the extra mile to make one for me ! Very nice !! The bruschetta needed a little more balsamic tho but still very tastey !

The Pizza was great! The Service/2 Waitresses, not so good. We walked in on the patio side and asked for a table, 3 were getting cleaned and ready, so We had a choice. Ultimately it was up to Me, since My Wife and friend went to the bathroom. I picked one, but it was a tall table and My friend asked the bus boy if We could switch tables, He said fine. It was literally right next to the other one so I don’t know why No one helped with Our order. Neither Waitress! My Wife ended up ordering Our food through the Bartender, Who ended up getting a really nice gratuity…. The only reason I am putting 3 s is that the food and entertainment was really good. Hopefully if You go here, You don’t switch tables. Lol!

There appeared to only be one waitress working the entire restaurant. She was doing her very best but not getting much help. We waited 15 minutes for drinks and bread. One of the two bus boys or the two hostesses could have brought them to our table, but they left it all to the waitress.
My youngest really liked the pizza, my meat ravioli was good, and my husband enjoyed his chicken.
I don’t think I would go back and wait that long to be served again.

We sat in the lounge. And I’m rating the lounge atmosphere 4 stars cuz it wasn’t that great. But, food was superior. You get warm bread and butter with olive oil and parm cheese. I ordered the chicken Limon with angel hair pasta. The dish was super tasty. My dish comes with either soup or salad and I picked salad with their house Italian. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert. Super rich and creamy. House made. If we are in the area we will def be back.
