I have not tried their pizzas but their Philly Cheesteak hero is filling with cooked peppers and onions, thinly sliced steak, and melty cheese. They could’ve added more cheese and added garlic butter to the bread but it’s fine. Service here is quick and fast casual. Good for a quick stop for lunch or takeout.

I do not recommend this place at all and hope they choose to serve their customers better in the future. My husband ordered two hero’s. We ordered a #1 hero. I asked for peppers, olives, and carrots on the side. So my order should have just been a chicken cutlet hero with lettuce and tomato They gave me tomato, carrot, olives and peppers on the side and put MAYO on the hero. I called to explain the discretion and they told me that I should have ask for what I wanted on the side. No where in their menu did it say mayo and they didn’t put my tomato on my hero. They would not fix my order and just complained saying we didn’t order it properly (I have managed an Italian restaurant and know very well we ordered properly.)

We live right around the corner from Mama Venezia. We have been ordering from them for at least 10 years. Faithfully every Friday and sometimes mid week. We have never complained about things that arrive undercooked because overall their food is good.
However , for the last 5-10 visits, we have received undercooked dough in the chicken roll, watered down tortellini soup (twice) and undercooked pizza. Today’s pizza was undercooked and arrived cold. Why are they treating us like this? We are loyal and steadfast patrons yet they just don’t care. One time, I went into the shop to pick up my food. They didn’t acknowledge me despite the fact that I was picking up over 100.00 in food. The owner, instead, gushed over another female patron. He offered her free sodas and free items while I stood there waiting. Ignored. I really don’t understand this behavior. My husband called the restaurant to tell them about the watered down soup and they did nothing. The next order arrived exactly the same. We have given them the benefit of the doubt for long enough, and will not be patronizing their establishment any more . I will also be spreading the news to my friends and neighbors. I am extremely, extremely disappointed and frankly I took too long to speak up.

Mon 1/19/2026 picked up a Sicilian pie ceasar salad dressing on side and wings ordered dry and well done, everything was prepared as I ordered and fresh ! Very satisfied and will definetely order again

The place I usually get a pie from closed so I tried Mama Venezia because it’s near my house. The pizza was terrible, dripping with too much oil and it was so limp that I couldn’t fold a slice and eat it I had to use a knife and fork. There are better pizzerias in Hicksville.

Pizza was ok. Some plain slices were thicker than normal plain slices. Fast service. Friendly staff. Clean dining area with lots of seating. Sufficient parking available.

I love their seafood pasta. My family usually order the half tray and share. The portion is good for 4 to 6 people. Price is good for the quality of foods, and delivery is very quick.
