Simple but delicious – I had the beef stir fry which came on a sizzling hot platter. Plenty of fresh veggies too, which made for a healthy and affordable meal. Served with steamed rice on the side. It is like eating a tasty home-cooked meal.
Bonus, it’s a good spot to watch the passing traffic.

Fresh delicious fijian Indian food. The person greeted me with a smile and was helpful. The dining area was large with plenty of space to eat in, and you can wash your hands before eating. The restaurant was clean and tidy. It gets busy, so get in early before the crowd. There are plenty of delicious options, and make sure you try the sweets.

Unfortunately within hours of eating here succumbed to vomiting and diarrhoea which meant my dream holiday was cut short while I spent 4 days recovering. I suggest you review your food handling and storage in those Bain Marie heaters ie ensure if your curries sit for hours pre-made that they are maintained at the appropriate temperature to avoid this happening to others. Wow. Amazing! I finally ventured out and went to Mama Ts per the reviews I saw here. Amazing good! The buttery fried chicken, to die for. The curry chicken, couldn’t stop eating it. The curry sauce is amazing! The combo fried rice, no words to describe it. We ate all the food right away! We have not tasted such good food in a long time. And let me tell about the prices and size of the portions…well you go get some at MamaT’s and find out!!!!

Great food by Fijian Indian chefs. The Indian was awesome as you’d expect and the Chinese dishes were tasty as well. Good prices. We ditched the resort and ate here on several occasions. They do burgers as well. The chicken burger I had, had a fabulous sauce on it.

Great affordable food right across from the Crown Beach Resort. We enjoyed the fish bites and loaded fries, and the lamb curry. When you adjust for the conversion to USD you realize you are eating amazing food for less than $10.

Amazing food. 5 out of 5 stars, especially for Indian folks who want a taste of home cooked food in Cook Islands, please don’t miss this gem of a place. Its unassuming in decor, but the food is off the charts. Me and my wife are veggie, and Mama T was always helpful and made us dal chawal and curry fried rice (similar to tawa pulao in India). Definitely do give them a try if you love authentic Indian food.

Great food and service. We are there several times during our stay as it was within walking distance of our accommodation. Value for money was good with the mains, all served with rice but the chips were of a small portion and slightly undercooked for our preference… But they were happy to cook them a bit longer for us when asked on our next visit. Very friendly staff. Fed 2 adults for 42 bux so great value. Would recommend.

Wonderful little hole in the wall style set up. We dined here three times during our 7 night stay in Rarotonga. Great island fusion menu and very similar to the style of “local” cuisine served in Fiji. Highly recommend their chicken fried rice or if you’re really lucky their prawns.
