Mama T’s Mexican Kitchen is a proud family-owned restaurant built on tradition, love, and a lifelong dream.
Our story begins in the heart of Mexico, where authentic recipes were passed down through generations—from the rich culinary roots of Guerrero to the soulful flavors of San Luis Potosí. Every dish we serve carries the history, culture, and passion of our family’s heritage.
What started as recipes taught in family kitchens has grown into something bigger: a place where community, culture, and authentic Mexican cuisine come together. Mama T’s was created from a dream—to share real Mexican food made with love, care, and tradition—and today, that dream is becoming a reality.

Authentic and delicious food with very good prices in a cozy warm atmosphere. The staff is very warm and friendly. A perfect spot for drive thru lunch or sit down dinner! We will definitely be back for more. Sooo good!

Every part of the chicken quesadilla ( with rice and beans added) was so, so good!
Plus I am always leery of guacamole and that was spectacular too!
To top off the experience they have super friendly and efficient service.
Definitely will be returning soon.

I wasn’t going to say anything but I have to for anyone who is looking for good Mexican food which clearly isn’t many based on the reviews. I was SO hoping I had found a place for a killer carne asada burrito with fries.. I lived on the west Coast for a hot minute and have toured Tijuana and Rosarito etc but my absolute favorite thing is a good quality carne asada California burrito you get in so cal. Sadly this place is re heat cheap ingredients.. I cannot believe the meat in the burrito was minced?!?!? It was bad, salty and wet with a big pile of shredded lettuce. The meat tasted like cat food for all I can imagine. I literally threw it away after a few bites for $15. I’d like to know where in Mexico do you get a burrito smothered in lettuce and sour cream and beans and minced salty mystery meat calling it carne asada? My wife got the chicken quesadilla, she always finishes the quesadillas I make at home but she threw hers away also after a few bites. It tasted like leftover warmed up chicken but at least it wasn’t minced meat! We will continue to go to Las Palapas in Livonia and El patio in Farmington hills because they are worth the drive I’ve never left them a poor review cause they are decent and that’s all I expect out here. At least they have okay ingredients and flavor. I hope anyone looking for quality food doesn’t waste their money on the items I got. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu but I won’t be back to try it sadly. ALSO: My mom went today and she said the fish taco was not very good either, WOW…. Attached is a picture of what REAL carne asada looks like.

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest, most helpful staff who actually take the time to explain the menu (love that). Everything tastes truly homemade—no shortcuts here.
The Taco Birria is next-level and worth coming back for again and again. The Chicken Taco and Beef Burrito were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. And save room for dessert—the Carrotcake and Flan were both outstanding.
Drive-thru or dine-in, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend. This spot is going straight into my regular rotation. ✨

First time trying Mama T’s and was not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fantastic. The food was even better. My entire meal was 10/10. I’d be happy to make this my new go-to spot and hope others support this fantastic small business.

I tried this place out for the first time and it is soooo good! I don’t know what I was expecting but I sure hope this place gets the business they deserve. Both the food and the staff were so amazing. My only thing I wish they had was fountain drinks instead of canned pop. Other than that 10/10
