I love Mama Tea’s!! Mama Tea and everyone else that works there is very friendly. I have always loved Mama Teas, but recently I went vegetarian and I’m even more pleased with them now. They have a lot of vegetarian options. I love the chickpea curry. The rice and beans always hits the spot and the collards are spicy and flavorful. I am looking forward to trying more of their vegetarian options.

I have been going to Caribbean restaurants for sometime. Never felt the need to leave a review because I know how they do business (IYKYK). However, my experience here was by far the worse. The service was terrible. Would it kill to greet the customer? The woman taking my order attitude was very unpleasant. I ordered oxtails with rice and peas and the oxtail had a bitter burnt flavor, the rice was burnt! When I asked to exchange for something different the ladies denied the food was burnt before tasting it but we all know it was. Just a disgrace. My man ordered stew chicken and it was tougher than 2020. The cabbage was uncooked with no seasoning. We tried to eat it but ended up leaving to go else where. I heard good things about this restaurant. I’m not sure if there’s a different cook on Sundays but the reviews are definitely contradicting to my experience.
