Great! Go-Go-Go! My wife and I ventured to Oldtown, Idaho to pick up a boat part, and got to stop in and enjoy dinner at Mama Sanchez Taqueria. The owner and staff are delightful. The food is delicious, authentic, and affordable. They have beer, wine, a great exotic tea and soda selection, and desert empanadas! My wife loved the gift shop and picked up a beautiful beaded jewelry set and artist music cd (there’s live music on Fridays). Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Recommend!

Small town feel which means:
Very kind staff.
Food is very good at an extremely reasonably price.
Clean facility.
A bit hard to find but worth it.

Really good taco, excellent … BUT it was nearly a 40 minute wait to get it. I hope they get some more kitchen or front counter help so no ridiculous long wait. Also, giving customers chips and salsa while they wait would help.

The restaurant is not big, but it is very well lit and it is kept very clean. The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes good. Even though the menu is limited, the burritos we ordered were yummy. We always have had good service there and the workers are very friendly.
I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

We have had them cater meetings and it is a favorite place for staff to grab a meal to go that isn’t fast food. Huge servings that are 2 meals for me. Food is good and our vegan staff find plenty of choices. Affordable and fairly fast. Order ahead if you want it for a 30 min lunch break. Only issue I’ve ever had is they have been closed at unpredictable times. Makes sense for a family run place but a pain when you were not expecting it.

Good food, friendly staff. Little spendy but worth it I think. The only thing I would complain about is I ordered a taco salad and there was no tortilla chips or fried tortilla bowl as I have come to expect. Definitely heavy on the salad light on taco. Aside from that it was delicious.

OMG! Food was great before pandemic. Recipes straight from owners family in Mexico. But today I found that the menu has tripled since reopening and the food was, if possible, even better. By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area!!!

Simple, clean, and quaint atmosphere paired with, authentic cuisine. All at a price that is convenient for lunch any day. Best Mexican cooking I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

This little hidden gem is probably north Idahos best mexican restaurant. Everything is fresh every single day of the week. I absolutely love eating here, so much so my boyfriend drives us a little more than an hour one way just to eat there!

If there was a -3 stars option I would select it. Smaller than a child’s plate. On a paper plate with plastic silverware. You have to go up and order your food. The food was extremely salty and had no flavor whatsoever. The tacos were extremely small and soggy. They weren’t cooked at all. Worst Mexican food I have ever had.
