Fairly slow but cooked fresh and very tasty. The inside out burger was nice and thick. I would pass on the milkshakes personally and stick with a delicious burger but I am super picky. My wife liked the fries however I didn’t. If back in the area I would go back for a burger for sure.

It looked dark from the outside so I thought they were closed . The location was easy to miss but I’m glad I went inside . The staff was small and friendly . Be patient because they cooked my order fresh and it took a little while but I was not in any rush . You may want to call ahead if you are but the fries are fresh cut and hot , the burger was delicious and made with real ground beef , ample generous amount , reminded me of home made cheeseburger . Definitely recommend . Pics included

I was going to Raleigh for the day from Lumberton and I was looking for somewhere to get lunch that had a high rating, and this was it! I got the hot mama burger and the chili mac hot dog as well, something I wouldn’t normally get but OMG it was amazing. I asked them to leave off the barbecue sauce and add ketchup.
UPDATE- me and my cousin drove an hour and 10 minutes today just to eat here again. It was even better than the first time. We got a steak and cheese sub, chili mac hotdog, fries, Carolina style burger and a fried chicken sandwich. Every single thing was great, and the owner is the nicest most gracious host. This has to be the best food you can get in Dunn and the surrounding area. I hope they have a long successful business.

Was visiting a friend in town and wanted to check this place out after seeing that Hwy 55 had moved out. Really good local place, the owner was very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. I really appreciated the size of the burger and the thickness of it, money well spent.

First time trying Mama Ruth’s. I was out of town during the grand opening so today I was able to stop in. Wednesday afternoon so it wasn’t too busy. The guy on the register was very polite and gave me some recommendations to try out. Food was fresh. Burger was very tender and moist. Had to grab a fork to finish it off because I didn’t pick it up with two hands. Had the Nathan dog with chili and Mac and cheese. I couldn’t finish it all but I will be sure to return. 10/10 recommend

Heard about their burgers, I am a burger man, we ended up getting 2 of the Wednesday Special, 2 pork chops with candied yams, cabbage & mac & cheese please.
Didn’t want Toooooo finish the plate but wanted Tooooooooo save the other one for later. We did.
