This restaurant is in an old train station. It has an old world feel. It was not packed and had returning patrons. The servers knew many by name. We were quickly seated and ask our drink choices. I was pleasantly surprised at size and taste of my Malibu Bay breeze. I had been in this restaurant years ago and the serving cup was small. Then the waitress came for our order. I did not like the calamari. It looked too pale and didn’t have much flavor. My Veal though was very tasty and a large portion. My husband said his Veal Franchise was just ok.

Went out for a birthday dinner with friends. My first time eating here and I have zero complaints. The food was good and service was great. The chocolate cake was perfect. Barely had enough time to take a picture before it disappeared! Antonio really took it to the top. Awesome place, not too big, awesome people.

My wife said the red sauce was so delicious she could drink it. My bolognese was fantastic and so was my wife’s chicken Marsala. Not inexpensive though. Nice tray and worth the money.

Very cool atmosphere love that they kept the old train station in the restaurant. Service is fabulous and food is top notch. Staff is amazing friendly, courteous and knowledgeable on the food and what to choose. Will definitely be back!

Stop #11 on our Pizza Tour 2022…Mama Rosina’s in Bound Brook, NJ. Being located in the old train station made for some cool architecture as well as some dine-in train watching. They have an outdoor trackside seating area as well.
Instead of our usual slices (I’m not even sure they do slices) we opted for a full pie with pepperoni. Also got a side of meatballs (excellent meatballs).
Very tasty crust…crisp outside, chewy inside, obviously made from very fresh dough. Good tomato basil sauce and top quality cheese (I believe the mozzarella is fresh grated). Sauce was perfectly spiced, not too sweet or bitter. Pepperoni was good and spicy, as expected. Overall, an excellent pizza. One of the top we’ve had.
Afterward, some awesome train watching…

So disappointed. Live in the area for 10 years and always saw this place and finally wanted give it a try. Did order take out but I literally live 2 minutes away. Calamari was under cooked and no taste, chicken parm was tasteless. And the shrimp salad was so soggy. We didn’t eat it and threw it out. I’m so sorry.

Haven’t eaten at a restaurant in this location in years. Girlfriend and I decided to check it out for a random Wednesday day night.
I honestly have to admit that every single dish we touched was phenomenal. From the butterfly shrimp to the fra diavolo and more, every dish was fresh and tasty. Our bartender Tony mixed delicous drinks and poured cold beers, informing us of incredible specials available.
I’m not one for desert but I couldn’t resist. Girlfriend and I give Mama Rosina’s a solid 10/10
Support your local businesses! Finding an awesome spot with great food is hard these days, but I can easily say that Mama Rosina’s checked every single box of what I look for in a local bar/restaurant.

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Mama Rosina’s. The antipasto is one of my favorites as well as the chicken Caesar salad. It is very filling and delicious.
The atmosphere is awesome. The old train station was converted into the restaurant so the aesthetic is perfect.
The staff is always attentive. Tony is the best.
