This was one of my spots back in the day. A small but intimate dining space with great traditional Italian cuisine, great service, and was always packed with customers and joy. Today, the place still serves great food- but the times have changed. It is now mostly carry out and the dining area was closed. But I still got the same warm and friendly service with a smile. My food was still delicious. There’s nothing like Momma Rosa’s!

I waited to give a review of Mama Rosa’s Pizzeria for a couple of days. Some places you have a hard time remembering the pizza. Not here. Very good. It’s worth getting the flavored garlic crust. I couldn’t finish the whole thing and had leftovers the next day. Heated up in the microwave, and it was still good. Nice to have a local pizza place and options from all of the chains.

Ordered an 8 cut round pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni, for pickup, and it was delicious!!! Only $12 for this whole pizza. They only have carry out (no dine in) so keep that in mind if planning to eat here. The lady who took my order was very kind and the pizza was ready pretty quickly. I’d definitely eat here again—pleasantly surprised. The pepperoni was delicious!!!!

I ordered a carryout pepperoni Detroit style deep dish pizza. Despite it being delivered it was still good. The crust was really good. The sauce was really good. It could have used more sauce. The cheese was nice and tasty and the pepperoni was on point. I would definitely go back.

Mama Rosa’s Pizza is hands down one of our favorite spots. The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and made just right, and the staff is incredibly friendly. You can really tell they care about quality and their customers. Highly recommend!

The service was not very well received and honestly.The environment doesn’t seem very welcoming. They take forever to get your food and I would only say to order from them.If you’ll be ready to eat in about an hour. The food is about as good as Applebee’s. The woman who takes your order at the front wasn’t as courteous to me, as let’s say the ‘other’ people who walked in. Made me feel like my business wasn’t wanted just because of her attitude.

This place is rude and incompetent … they delivered me the wrong pizza I called back hoping to resolve the issue and the young lady in the phone kept talking over me and saying that this is the pizza I ordered… I know what I asked for !! And because you put it in wrong and do not want to take accountability, couldn’t get me a manager just rude ! And to blame me..!when I literally know what I ordered! Do better and get a better staff !

Takeaway. Mama Rosas used to be dine in but now it’s just for takeout. But it’s more than just a pizza joint. Pastas abound and the salads are better than what you get at a pizza joint. If you’re next door at the Cabbage Patch you can order a Mama Rosa and be in Cabbage Patch heaven! I think my favorite thing was how fast the pizza came out!
