An honest and thorough review…

They need to get their phones fixed. My husband tried to use his gift card online and it wouldn’t let him. He then tried to call up there… it rang the first time, and someone answered and put him on hold. He was disconnected a few seconds later. Multiple calls back, and he couldn’t get through again.

We assumed that maybe they were busy, because it’s pizza on a Friday night, so we went ahead and went up there in person. When we got there, there were at least 5 people that we could see, and at least half of them seemed disoriented/overwhelmed. Nonetheless, they were friendly/courteous.

The restauraunt itself is clean, with a decent amount of seating. That being said, there is very little room to stand at the check out counter, a problem that was further exacerbated by an employee sitting at a table, folding pizza boxes. (That can get you pinged for a health code violation.)

The food —

The cheesy bread was good…I liked the taste of the cheese, and I would order it again. However, we didn’t like that they put marinara cups that had been handled with uncovered hands directly onto the cheesy bread. That’s not sanitary. 🙁 It would be better to put it in a bag, or place it separately next time.

We also ordered a meat lover pizza. It was not my favorite, especially for the price. Maybe it was the marinara sauce? It was weirdly sweet. The stuff they gave us for dipping (pictured) tasted like straight canned tomato paste. Nothing to write home about.

It seems that they only offer thin crust, which results in a kind of grocery store frozen-section quality. The only thing that really redeemed it was that they *were* generous with their toppings. Our 4-year-old rarely eats an entire slice of pizza without picking off the toppings… she ate an entire slice of this without complaint.

Their tea was really good. They do have the “good ice” – that Sonic-style ice. I appreciated that.

Overall, it was a decent experience. Speaking honestly though, we were only eating here because we were gifted a card by a friend. That being said, we personally would not get pizza from here again at the prices they are charging. More than $2 a piece for toppings, even onions/peppers etc is kind of wild, honestly.

For the price of a 12″ meatlovers pizza, some cheesy bread, and two sweet teas with ice, it was over $40. And that was to pick up in store. I am all for supporting local businesses, but I am more for affordably feeding my family. $40 will get you 4 medium 2-topping pizzas and 32 breadbites + a tip at Dominoes. This coupled with the difficulty of even using the gift card… There was a notable price discrepancy of over $4 between ordering the exact thing online using the gift card and using it in person in-store — for carryout. That doesn’t make sense…

We are overlooking some of this as “growing pains” because this is a newer business. We will try one more time in another month or so to see if things have improved.

The food is decent. The prices though are all over the place. Base price is same but every time I order a small cheese stick, I add pepperoni. I have been charged 75 cents. Second time 40 cents. Third time $1. To sketchy for me.

I tried the cauliflower crust pizza with mushrooms, black olives and onion for the first tim! IT WAS DELICIOUS! Thin and crispy crust! If you’re holding back on trying cauliflower crust, take the leap! It’s worth it!

Great pizza, salad, and sub selection. Not deep dish but not thin crust either. Pizza isn’t too doughy and the toppings are plenty. House salad with selections of dressing is nice. Restaurant is brighter than the original locations in Dothan, but it doesn’t detract from the dinner in experience. The wait staff was very friendly and checked on me during my lunch plenty of times.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. Unfortunately, the pizza was very disappointing. It lacked sauce, the cheese had an unpleasant, rubbery texture, and there was little flavor overall. For the price, I expected much better quality. In my opinion, you’d have a more satisfying experience making pizza at home or purchasing a frozen option from the store. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on my visit.

Our 1st time in and Bonnie (I believe is her name) was so inviting and knew the menu like the back of her hand (impressive). I miss our pizzeria pizza in the northeast but for a local spot, this pizza was good and the service was fast. The atmosphere was lovely as well.

The staff was nice and the place is fine, but I’ve had multiple better frozen pizzas than the kind of food this place serves. I hope it doesn’t stay long.

Staff is great. Homemade ranch is awesome. Pizza is some of the best we’ve had in the area, and I have a high standard, I grew up in Chicago.

We purchased two large pizzas. Had our son pick them up, take out. I have to say very disappointing. Did not taste good at all. Wasted $50 bucks. Would not recommend. Service was fine and lobby was clean, but a hard No on the .pizza.
