This was so good and authentic, we had it for dinner, checked out of our hotel the next morning and waited until 11 for them to open. Everything was absolutely amazing! Must try the bruschetta!!

Went here on Valentines. Wanted mainly soup and salad. They were out of all soups. Got here about 7 and seemed they were too worried about closing to be attentive. They had a vday special. 2 entrees, drinks and piece of cheesecake for 40. We decided to do that. I hear great things about their Alfredo so tried it and it tastes anything but authentic. No flavor like it needed salt and garlic. My husband got the chicken parm. His chicken was so overdone and burnt, it was like leather. They cooked it til the breading was almost completely black and then tried to soften it up in sauce. He could not eat it. You cant chew leather. We told the waitress and she just said. “Im sorry, I don’t know why its like that.” She didnt offer to remove it or adjust the bill or anything. $20 for half a plate of spaghetti basically. And their sauce is pure sugar. I told her that when she took the plates and brought the bill. 5 minutes later, I went to cash register to pay and she asked me the same question. Was everything alright? I said well besides the chicken it was fine and she gave the same response and did not adjust or offer anything. Then on top of it all, I saw everyone’s cheesecake slice. It was a large regular slice. The table beside us threw theirs away.(it was selected random). When we got ours it was a baby piece. Was literally 2 bites. It was a quarter of the size of the others. And also, every other woman at the tables who did the special, got a long stem rose. I did not. I didnt want one anyway but it shows how attentive our waitress was. She had in an ear bud and we had to wait forever for her to even come check on us. I do not think we will be going back in the near future. Truly disappointed. Wish I’d have got a picture bc it was trash.

The garlic rolls weren’t as flavorful as I expected, nor were they that soft. My pasta was super bland and almost felt like I was eating mush. No flavor whatsoever. I had to add a lot of stuff myself to even be able to eat it…

Food was Excellent. Waitress was sitting at a table playing with her phone when we came in. Ran out of water and didn’t get a refill for 10 minutes. That’s the only negative I had. Employees need to leave their phones in their car or in the office. This is an Employer problem. They shouldn’t allow it while on the clock. I didn’t when I was a manager. During your break is fine.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is on par with what you would expect at a fine dining Italian restaurant but in a down home feel setting. The staff is friendly and delivers prompt service but what I was truly blown away by is the garlic bread. Truly melt in your mouth pull apart bread that is made fresh daily. As someone who travels extensively for work I can say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever patroned.

This just might be the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve been all across the country & in multiple other countries. Found this little place tucked away in a little town in West Virginia called Buckhannon. We had Caprese salad, Chicken tortellini soup, fresh baked garlic rolls, Rigatoni Francesco & Rigatoni with meat sauce. Portions were plentiful and other guests & ourselves required takeout containers. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients. My being Italian and a great cook myself, it’s very rare I find an Italian restaurant that meets, let alone exceeds my expectations but this place hit it out of the ball park! Well worth the 2 hour trip for us as by motorcycle we were vacationing in Webster Springs.

First visit to Mama Roma. Excellent Italian restaurant, the three in our party all enjoyed our entrees. The eggplant stacker was delicious, fresh mozzarella and tomato between two crispy eggplant slices, topped with arugula and drizzled with balsamic glaze! Our server was great, refilled our beverages without prompting, and checked in occasionally to see if we needed anything else. We will be dining there again! ♡

Besides a 45 minute wait for my order and receiving the wrong salad which had blue cheese crumbles that are not my thing…my eggplant was decision the sauce outstanding fresh made…. the fresh garlic rolls omg so good. The service was excellent
