Mama Robertos in Mentor, Ohio was opened back in 1999. However, this neighborhood pizza parlor has the feel of a restaurant you may have found back in the 50s.

FORGET MAMA ROBERTOS!!
I have not been here in a long time mostly because of horror stories that I heard from other people throughout the years. I ordered food to take to my dad’s house for Super Bowl Sunday. I though ahead and ordered around 4 oclock. I paid a %10 tip even for pickup because I knew they would be busy today. Their own site told me to pick it up betweem 5:50 and 6:00 p.m. I tried to screenshot that because I just do that out of habit for those types of things. I found it wierd that their site blocks screenshots. I arrived at the time they told me to be there to find the store closed. No sign up with any explaination and their hours posted are from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sundays. I am now sitting at Dominos on Center st and have to wait an hour because it Super Bowl Sunday and everyone is slammed. Thank god my dad can DVR the game so I won’t miss it.
Back when they first opened my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there. (Well before they had a banquet room 20 years ago). They were great. We later had a death in the family and ordered a lot of food for a get together at out house afterwards. When we got home with the food we realized they gave us someone else’s order. We called and caught the owner right before he closed. He turned all the machines back on, remade our order, and let us keep the other food we had recieved. They were great once and it used to be a staple of a place we would choose to dine at.
This is my last bad experience with them. I will call tomorrow to see of I can at least get my money back.

Outstanding pizzas, delicious calzone and the largest cannoli I have seen in a very long time. The Bianco Chicken was delicious, but the star of the night was the pepperoni and sausage small pizza. The mix was perfectly balanced with the cheese – every bite as good as the one before it. It was even better the next morning.
We got three cannoli and my cannoli was excellent – the shell was obviously filled right before they boxed it. Good cheese mix and subtle chocolate and fruit chunks. Absolutely delicious!
Only down side is no dine-in, take away only right now.

Our first time back in many years and it certainly didn’t disappoint! We had a large party of 14 and the service was awesome and the food was all hot and came out at the same time. Never an easy task with larger parties. The tortellini was fantastic, truly one of my favorites ever. The pesto sauce and cheese were so fresh and delicious. The chicken marsala and chicken tenders were also great picks. Can’t wait to go back!

Wow!!! Unbelievable food!!! This place has been a favorite of mine since my singing days here in Ohio way back when! Nicest people in the world and they’d cater events I’d sing at. Today we went and ordered food to take out. They amount of food we received was way above and beyond! The flavor of just the salad is something we can’t get in Nashville. Best ever!!! Every bite is superb and this will be a must on my visits here. Best food ever!!!

What a great find! You want great take out and wonderful service, walk into Mama Roberto’s. The servings are huge and the meat pizza is a ton of meat. Our first time trying Cleveland Style pizza and we are hooked. Great lasagna and the fried mozzarella was like made hours ago mozzarella perfectly fried. Cannot say enough good things.

After driving by more times than I can count, I finally stopped in. Come to find out that this place has been in biz for 26 years. After eating their food , I can see why. Really good pizza and an equally good cannoli. A spot I’ll gladly recommend.

Great food great staff. First time trying the pizza. Outstanding 100% lots of toppings. And some of the largest fresh toppings I have ever seen on a pizza. Onion, green bell peppers, pepperoni, and large chunks of fresh made Italian sausage. Great sauce and crust. I’d rank them in the top 3 pizzas I have ever had. Can’t wait to try some of their other items on the menu. Great prices for fresh hand made. Home style food.

After driving past Mamma Roberto’s for years we decided to try it last year and it is now our Friday night pizza favorite. The food quality is consistent, the staff pleasant and hard working. We have narrowed our favorites down to a large pepperoni and hot pepper pizza, fried mozzarella and cannoli. The pizza is original and always delicious I would recommend those to anyone. Great local restaurant that has been in Mentor as long as I can remember.
