Love this bar! The live music they had last night was great. Felt like a country bar for the first time in 3 weeks. It would be really cool if the country nights and edm nights were separated and posted on social media to know what to expect. Great service over all.

I was very hopeful about this place. I am from out of town and heard this was the place to go for country dancing. I was disappointed to find that it was primarily a one man show for the DJ who played whatever he wanted without regard to the crowd. This is sad because the place has so much potential and a great atmosphere! The crowd clearly wants to line and swing dance but are extremely limited by the musical choices of the DJ. Aside from this, the dance floor is frequently sticky and a no drinks or standing on the floor should be in place. On the bright side, the bartenders are quick and friendly and there is no cover!

The night had a great start last night. Great bartenders great country bar atmosphere with line dancing. It eventually became a giant frat party with twinks dancing on the stage. Don’t recommend for line dancing on a Friday night if that’s what you’re looking for.

The pizza was awesome and they have such fun options. It was hard to decide! We will have to go back many times to try them all! Our kiddos loved it and we cannot wait to return and try some beer. The lighting is really fun and it seems like a great place for dinner. We will be back soon!

The pizza flavors were not traditional, but all were amazing. My favorite is the Carnitas pulled pork. A must-have and favorite amongst locals.
Atmosphere is cool with a new vibe that isn’t like many places in Grand Junction.

Overall a good experience here at Mama Ree’s. The beer flight (4 drinks) was worth it. We ordered their Mavpie and PP&G pizzas. One really noticeable thing was the toppings stayed on well. Our only complaints are the Mavpie not being mac and cheesey enough and that it took a while for us to be noticed and helped. The server did acknowledge and apologize though.

Went to Mama Ree’s as a pizza place and loved it. Went there about 3 months ago when they switched over to the BBQ and this review is on that. The BBQ is delicious.. however, when I went 3 months ago, it took more than 1 hour and 40 minutes to get my food. I figured it was growing pains or whatever, stuff can be challenging with new routines. We went earlier this week and when we arrived, the BBQ staff was working on some meat. While we were greeted immediately, he didn’t interact again at all. Not a word about wait time, getting drinks, anything. We waited between 15-20 minutes and… Nothing. Looking around the restaurant, there were three tables, maybe 10 people, none of whom had their food yet. Our party left to go to the restaurant right next door. Wonderful food, interminable wait time. I can’t imagine I will go back. Disappointing because both Mama Ree’s and Snooks Bottom BBQ both used to be incredible.

My husband and I used to love going it was our favorite outing event. Slowly we started to notice it felt less and less like country night, and it felt like more people came when it was country night. It felt like very mixed and a lot of people wouldn’t dance due to more swing dances than line dances and then the random throw in of Edm or Rock music. For the people that like those nights it was awesome when you had specific days for that. We stopped going but would love to come back if it was actually country night.

Great place. Friendly bartender and waitress. Good pizza. Salad bar was small but fresh and clean. Great ambiance. This place is gonna be really amazing with some of the stuff planned for the summer. Excited to try it and will certainly be back again when the other let’s there are finished for the summer. Had their hazy pale ale and it was rather tasty. Very impressed. Keep it up!

This place has so much promise. I hope they can figure things out and be successful. This was our first time here. It’s a beautiful restaurant. We got the mac and cheese pizza, hot wings and garlic knots. The bread is great but it has absolutely no flavor. The only thing on the pizza you can taste is the BBQ sauce other than that it doesn’t taste like anything. The garlic knots didn’t have any flavor either. The bread was great but no flavor whatsoever. The wings were the best part. I’d say they are one of my favorites in town. They tasted baked which I loved and they were a good size. The price for everything was great and cheaper than I expected. We will probably give it another try and hope we went on a bad day but I want flavor!
