Mama Randazzo’s has the best food! Staff is always very welcoming, the service is amazing, and the restaurant is always clean. The Meatballs are always delicious & the biggest ones I’ve seen and you can tell they are homemade and the food is made with love!! It feels like you’re at home with how they make you feel. I always recommend this place to anyone for homemade comfort food.

A small section of town has this gem hidden away. The “about us” section has a nice back story. Everything authentic is a little bit of a stretch. The calamari was very rubbery. The bruschetta was pleasant but overloaded on two slices of bread that left extra toppings just being wasted. For the price a third piece of toast would have been nice. We also ordered a white pizza, here is where the magic happened. The crust was hands down the best part of the meal. I am not overly fond of gobs of ricotta but they spread easily enough, allowing the ability to taste the cheese in every bite. Overall I’d say I will eat here again and with the vast menu it may take awhile to try everything.

I had the Philly pizza sub or something along those lines. I didn’t realize there was no side, on me though. I ate a little bit of my wife’s steak salad. It was good. Service was ok. My oldest son loved the adult spaghetti and meatball.

Dinner with a group. Had 7 takeout orders, every order was correct. Great food, wonderful, friendly service. I made a mistake figuring tip and tipped more than total food order. They called me to check before processing. I am grateful for their integrity and thoughtfulness.

Disappointing Alfredo Sauce
I ordered the Alfredo Sauce, but it was far from what I expected. The sauce had noticeable oil separation, making it look unappetizing and not the creamy, smooth texture an Alfredo Sauce should have. It seemed poorly prepared or reheated improperly.
This was a disappointing experience, and I hope the restaurant improves the quality and preparation of their dishes.

I am visiting from New Jersey so naturally I like to try pizza from different places. Not to sound like a pizza snob, but my issue with this place is the price. 26.50$ for a large white pie, and no broccoli? The taste is extremely bland, and comes standard with whole sliced tomatoes. This pizza shouldn’t be sold for any more than 17$. The finest pizza places in New Jersey don’t sell a large pizza with toppings for more than 21$. Highly disappointed. The price point should be a crime.

I’m completely baffled! I have never had anything such as this evening. Absolutely horrible! You don’t pay 37 dollars for a meal to have complaints! My boyfriend, and I had a philly cheesesteak stromboli, and a order of onion rings. I called about the onion rings, unbeknownst to me that our philly cheesesteak consisted of cheese with very little steak, and about the same amount of peppers, and onions. I’m not certain if they’ve a different cook during the week than they do during the weekend?..The food lacks its tasty goodness!

This was a very nice find in Altoona. Not in a prominent location but easy to find via Internet mapping. Plenty of parking next to building and across the street. This is a small local Italian restaurant. Mama Randazzo work almost every day (at the time of this posting) preparing fresh food for the day. The staff have nothing but praise for her and her leadership.
The food is very good and obviously fresh made. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Clean restrooms. Will definitely return here when in the area.
