One of the highlights of my trip to Waco. A must visit if you want truly local. This guy (Papa) was the salt of the earth. Such a nice guy. A very humble man’s and a humble spot. It’s not a mainstream establishment and probably could use a touch of paint and a little tile on the floor. But hey, it’s the true experience. We absolutely loved it. We had three meat with potato salad and baked beans. I had beef, ribs and sausage. My wife had all beef. There was just one guy and he was handling all the drive through as well as dine in. All I have to say is ….just go there. You will have an amazing experience. I wish I could go back it I’m now 6,000 miles away. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.

Papa Bill is the sweetest man ever. I always look for out of the way places to try food in other states and this is a hidden gem!!!! Best BBQ I’ve ever had, potato salad is on point, and the beans were great. Take the time to go out and get some amazing food and meet new family. The sausage and chopped beef Thank you papa Bill!!!!

Papa B is the NICEST MAN EVER. Last June, my friend and I visited here during our graduation road trip and we had a wonderful time with wonderful food. I thought this was the end of story BUT IT WAS NOT.
My husband and I just got married last weekend and we took my folks (visiting from China) to Waco since it’s where we met (as Baylor students). So I decided to feed them with some decent Texan BBQ and we came here again. Papa B literally recognized me soon after we walked in and he even kept the receipt from last June with our name and number on it! We were so surprised! He sent us off with the warmest greet, the most wonderful cinnamon cake/roll, and the most sincere blessing. If you ever come to Waco, stop by and talk to him. This man does not only welcome people into his restaurant, he welcome you into his heart.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this place! I come here if I am craving some good old fashioned barbecue. The food company and atmosphere is amazing!!! I have been coming here since before mamma passed on(forever in my heart!) I became family to her and she was such a dear dear woman! The barbecue is tender and so full of flavor the meat is always juicy the sides are plentiful he’s generous in the portions…but his shop has not been opened the past couple of days when is it going to be open?!

Do you ask the companies who clothes you purchased, Gas stations that you go to fill up your tank, Nurse, doctor,EMS and etc that you call when in a emergency, what’s their political affiliation??…of course you don’t. And yet you wonder why people leaving your ” Blue Party” in droves to go vote “Red” or ” Independent “. Normal people give bad ratings on customer service or quality of product…Not because of their political affiliation.

Bill Collins, the owner who has “been on this corner for 40 years” is welcoming and genuine. This is Texas barbecue, through and through. Served in styrofoam, white bread carefully packaged in a sandwich bag. The ribs and brisket were excellent, and Bill made my son and I feel like we were family. No trip to Waco will be complete without a trip to Magnolia to drop my daughter and wife off while I stroll down the street to Mama & Papa B’s.

My friends and I found a gem while visiting the Magnolia Silos in Waco Texas and Trust me we will definitely be back. We had the BBQ, ribs, brisket, potato salad and beans. Every bite was deliciously delicious . the owner was awesome, nice and friendly and his cousin kept us entertained while we watched the owner work his magic. We will definitely be back!

We went to the silos and while my wife was shopping I brought my kids for some bbq! We got to meet the owner Bill and he was a great man! Treated my kids great. The bbq was great and the moo moo sauce he put on the ribs was some of the best sauce I’ve ever had. The place has some character to it but the man making the food with worth the trip.

Y’all this cozy little place made me feel like I was at someone’s house for lunch! This gentleman not only showed good hospitality but the food was worth the drive!!!!!! He made sure we were full before we left. I’m in Waco all the time for work so will definitely be going back & stopping by here! If you get a chance to check it out you won’t be disappointed.
