What a lovely surprise! I grew up in NY, and this brought me back to the pizza shops of my childhood. They clearly use FRESH ingredients… so good. The staff was fantastic. Definitely not your typical Midwest conveyer-belt pizza joint. Try it!!

Awesome, pizza! Tastes amazing. The crust is crisp, but yet soft. The Baked Ziti & bread sticks were also delicious. Huge bread sticks. Family-Friendly. We will drive 3 hours back for this delightful, little place. Yum!

Eat in please. She waves the menu at two 2-tops. We have that and that. I asked if we could have a little larger table for some elbow room.
With the menu again, you have that and that. I asked if they were expecting a large group.
She says they are the only place open on Monday’s.
That isn’t true. We drove around and saw several other places open. Lovely town, with lovely homes.
Two people came in for take out during our hour-plus stay.
The food was delivered to our table with no smile. No enjoy your meal. My Alfredo pasta came in a foil container. The pizza took up most of the room on our tiny table.
Everything tasted bland and needed proper seasoning.
The atmosphere was as dismal as Mama Nellie.

Very hot in the summer with not a lot of seating, so it’s clearly setup for takeout but we decided to eat there anyway. The service was fine, but the pizza is great, better than any place I’ve been in Des Moines. When we went to leave, the guy offered us frozen watermelon pops to cool off. Will definitely be stopping back when I’m in Emmetsburg.

Pizza taste amazing, but I paid 22.99 for a large Bianca pizza (tomato Alfredo and spinach) and the pizza was half crust. I also ordered a small spicy chicken for 16.99 and it also was half crust.
