Ordered an extra large with pepperoni and green olives. The pizza was soggy when we picked it up which is whatever only to take a bite and the slice had shards of plastic in it. Paid $25 for the pizza was offered a replacement pizza or credit towards the restaurant. I asked for a refund and was refused. What on earth makes them think I would want another one of their pizzas?

I can’t figure out what people see in this place. I have had this pizza several times myself and my office has ordered it several times. Personally, I have never had a good experience with when I go in for carry out. I brush that off though because it was fairly busy for the number of people working there. But they did have room. Why not hire more help? They seem to always skimp on the toppings. There is always an unusually large amount of crust showing around the edges. At first I thought it was just a one time poorly made pizza but it was every time. You can even see it in the pictures of the other reviews. Even the good reviews. I might be ok with this if the crust was good but, like many other reviewers have stated, it is rubbery. Too rubbery for me. For those of you that enjoy it, great, but there is definitely better out there.

In short, we received a salad with Gross black lettuce after hearing the kitchen staff joke about hiding it below the spinach. I ordered four pizzas, a salad, and mozzarella sticks. I arrived a few minutes early as a customer was leaving, so the kitchen staff didn’t notice I had entered. They proceeded to talk about the salad they were making and said, “just hide it under the spinach and no one will see it”. When I politely confronted them the person in charge said that romaine never looks very pretty and so they put the spinach on top to improve the presentation and assured me everything was ok with the salad. As soon as I or anyone else started eating the salad we noticed that ALL of the romaine (at the bottom of the salad) was black (see photos). I can understand that as a small business you can’t always use the 100% freshest ingredients, but to joke about and then serve someone entirely rotten lettuce is unacceptable. On top of this they confused which order was mine, so I waited an extra 15 minutes for my pizzas, only for the staff to realize the pizza was actually done on time and that my once hot pizzas were sitting on the shelf for 15 minutes and now no longer hot. We will not be back.

I have placed an order through call and went to pick up expecting to pay the price displayed online, but when I went in for pickup they said they have applied a coupon and gave me discount, even though they could have just charged for the full amount. That’s honesty rare to find.
Pizza was good too, in the journey of seeing local pizzerias, found this, and this surely deserves its rating and reviews. Cheese was delicious and different from other pizzerias. Garden pizza was delicious! One of the best that I have tried in the recent times.

This place is great! Did you know they hand chop the chicken for your chicken subs and pizza. It is a real chicken breast diced by hand by some great people. Then male manager iet was great and personalable. He was honest and real. Everyone knows working food service dealing with jerk people all day can wear you done and he has a great personality and I will definitely we walking over to see them more ony lunch. This velocity chick loves this place. Can’t wait to see you at pizzapalozza this weekend!
