Came here for a quick bite to eat. We Had the calamari for an appetizer and it was very fresh and flavorful. I got tacos and all of them were great. The burrito was massive and only downfall was a bit too much rice in it. Drinks are always top shelf. Bathrooms were clean

All the staff was terrific from the time that we arrived. We had a party of 7, 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Each one of us ordered something different and everybody really enjoyed their meals. My girlfriend had the state fajitas and I took a few bites and it was outstanding! Looking forward to going back.

Came in with a friend on a Wednesday night. Vibes were okay our waitress was nice. I ordered the “filet mignon” steak tacos which are over priced per taco but decided to give it a chance. I have never seen a steak taco so dry. Meat was cold, barely cut up, and the cheese wasn’t melted. I complained about it to the waitress and was told they’d grab the manager. I sat and watched the manager mingle with not an ounce of concern at the bar for an entire 10 minutes. In the midst of waiting I’m pretty sure our waitress could tell I was getting frustrated and felt bad, I’m not sure what happened in between then but she comped the inedible tacos and was willing to get me something else. I ordered the nachos with beef instead. Very mid and barely ate it but it was cheap. I should’ve known the food wasn’t going to be good based on how much the salsa with the complimentary chips lacked flavor. I won’t be back and was better off going to a chain Mexican restaurant.

Did take out, was fairly quickly prepared and staff was friendly. 25$ for 3 tacos seems high, but they do overload the meat on each taco, so could make 2 out of 1, in my case. Seems authentic and popular spot.

We loved it! Googled Mexican restaurants while we were in the Palos area and Mama Maria’s popped up. Glad we tried it! We got the beef and steak burritos, steak is actually filet mignon! Delicious! So tender and flavorful. Rice n Beans top tier. Guacamole was not only flavorful but a lot of it! Chips n Salsa.. salsa was a bit lacking in heat, I believe the waiter noticed I wasn’t having it and he brought over a habanero sauce that I added to it.. great! Manager came over as we mentioned we were first timers and comped the guacamole.. will definitely be back!

We had a taste for Mexican food, came here on a friend’s suggestion. Couldn’t have been more happy. Got a seat immediately at the bar. Manager was great, Gigi (I believe) she was great! Knew something about everything on the menu! Made us great Margaritas.. bar was clean, everyone was super friendly! Ordered 3 tacos, they were awesome. This will be our go to place from now on for Mexican food.

Used to be one of our favorites.But the last 2 times, including tonight, we’ve been ignored by the wait staff. Tonight, it was myself and my 7 year old son. We were seated, with menus, at about 445. We were given waters and chips & salsa right away, so this wasn’t the food runners/bus staff. So after the waters and chips, well, nothing. For 15 minutes. No server, no specials, no drinks, literally nothing. I counted 16 customers, including us, so the place was over half empty. At the 15 minute mark, we just left. And, of course, the 2 girls at the host stand, couldn’t have cared less. One was on the phone, the other was staring off into space, completely oblivious that we were walking out the door. This place used to be great, but now I won’t even waste my time.

Wow. I’m definitely changing my review. The rudest woman whom I’ve ever interacted with. I wish I could’ve gotten her name. She was awful to both me and my husband. We just waned to know what happened to our food and her answer was to question my cooking skills. Don’t allow yourself to be treated this way.

OMG AMAZING! Hidden back of the road a little, we had no idea it was here. First the chips and salsa were some of the best ever – super crispy chips. The margaritas were amazing! Fresh fruit and cucumbers piled in the drink. The tacos were amazing. We had 5 tacos – fish, ground beef, smashburgers, gringo and a pork & pineapple. Each one was equally good. Our server, Kristin, was the sweetest. Cannot wait to go back.
