Soon as I walk in I am greeted with a warm welcome. I ask 20 question plus 30 more, so for the staff to be patient as they were was a plus for me. Food quality is top notch. I like my pizza crunchy but not well done or burnt, and Mama Maria’s Pizza knows how to do just that. I walk in hungry and I leave out satisfied. If that’s not good business, then I don’t know what is.

Good food, prices are comparable to pretty much any other pizza/Italian food restaurant. Pleasant staff. Large menu. Only con was that I asked for a calzone with ham and sausage. they gave me one with mushrooms. Not only do I not like mushrooms, But that’s a far cry from the meat that I asked for. The rest of the order was correct and good so gave them 4 stars

This place is awesome! The owner is a great guy who makes sure your dining experience is top notch. My daughter and I stopped for pizza and it was so delicious; tasty, fresh ingredients and the sauce was so authentic. We were also presented with a fried dough desert sprinkled with powdered sugar, on the house! We have a new favorite place for pizza, that’s for sure!

Was craving pizza, saw the pictures online and HAD to come in! The grandma Sicilian pizza was insanely delicious, and what really topped our experience here was Watson’s personality – he was so kind and assisted us in making our decision on what to get. If we lived in the area this would definitely be our weekly spot.

My mother and I stopped here for dinner on our way back to the other coast for dinner and we were so pleased. The menu has really good variety of options, I had a slice of cheese and a buffalo chicken wrap, my mother had a meatball sub with extra marinara sauce. I’m a bit of a pizza snob but I can’t wait to be back on that coast to get another slice. The buffalo chicken had great flavor, i added a little side of ranch which was perfect for me to tame the spice. The meatball sub was a very generous portion and covered in sauce. The fries came as a side and were hot and fresh. Very nice team members working and the service was fast. We will be returning.

ATTENTION:HIDDEN GEM!! I’m usually in the plaza next door at least once a day, and never saw this Italian restaurant. Ordered just a lg cheese pizza, and it’s the best pizza I’ve had in Florida! I’ve been here all of my life. Ordered a Margarita pizza the very next night! Boom! They got it over there! Great customer service and it’s very clean. Get the word out. This restaurant is tucked in the back corner next to the gym. The guy there 2 nights in a row, I believe is the owner. Great to talk to! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks again for Mama Maria‘s coming through big time!

We’ve been coming to this place for a few years now and their pizza is good, however the costumer service is lacking. We ordered a pizza for carry out and paid online. When we went to pick up the pizza, we were informed that they no longer use slice for online ordering, even though it is still on their website and we got a confirmation email telling us what time it would be ready.
The guy told us to call Slice for a refund. No asking what we ordered. No offer to cook it. Just a half hearted “sorry dude” with no effort to make it right.

I have been going to Mama Maria’s for years and it’s hands down one of the best pizza spots in Broward County. Tony’s the best and always has a wonderful personality authentic to the business. My grand parents go at least once a week, are always taken care of and the food is always delicious. Some pizza spots red sauce can hurt your stomach but not Mama Maria’s. If you have trouble with some red sauces from Italian places this is the place for you. The food is delicious, the slices are fantastic and I would recommend their lasagna. It’s slightly different from traditional lasagna, it’s kinda like lasagna pasta but in my opinion it’s even better than any lasagna I’ve had. There spots a little hidden which is even better because it’s like knowing where the treasure is on a treasure map. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic Italian food.

A+ all around. I’ve only been here once so far, but I can’t wait to come back! The owner Tony is a great guy, and his pizza can’t be beat for the price. Monster slices of top notch NY-style pizza for a great deal make this place PERFECT for lunch, but the pasta and entree options mean you’d be in for a great dinner too. A gem of a local spot.
