Look. It’s good for what it is, but you have to understand that this is a chain Mexican restaurant so the caliber isn’t the same as other family owned restaurants. I love the complimentary chips when you dine in which is what makes dining in worth it.
My main gripe was with the chicken fajita taco. It doesn’t come with vegetables, the chicken itself isn’t very flavorful and the $4.50 price tag on top of it doesn’t make it worth it. There are plenty of other things you can get on the menu that are better, but the chicken fajita taco isn’t one of them. My parents’ personal favorite are the chalupas.

There was a beautiful blonde hair in my Picadio taco yesterday. We ordered tacos at the drive thru. We drove all the way to Leon springs to do a job and didn’t eat our food until we got there. I was so hungry and have never had a bad experience eating the food from here but this was straight up nasty. I wanted to puke and didn’t even bother eating any of the other tacos I had. I still recommend this restaurant because I’ve always had the best experience however someone must’ve not been wearing a hairnet that day…

This was my first time visiting and they got everything right! I had ordered a Diet Coke and went to my table. The lady was kind enough to let us know that the coke might not be right. I tried it and she was right, it was mostly carbonated water. The food was perfect and very good portions. I very very highly recommend it. I will definitely go again!

This is a great spot to grab a late-night meal when you’re not in the mood for fast food. I had the mixed fajitas for two—the flavor was excellent, the meat was tender, and the wait time was minimal. My wife really enjoyed her piña colada as well. One of the best parts about dining here is the self-serve chips and salsa bar, which offers a variety of flavors, including jalapeños. For the quality and portion sizes, I felt like I got great value. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very great service thanks to the manager, Gina. I was just here and I come a lot. The food is always so delicious. Probably one of the best in San Antonio if you’re looking for some good Mexican food.

This restaurant charged me $1.85 for 1 tiny sliver of avocado, big rip off! I spoke to the manager and he said that’s what they charge. Then I asked if they could add another slice since that piece was so tiny and he just said he would have to charge me again, or charge me $3.85 for 3 tiny pieces for my one chicken fajita taco! I will go to Las Palapas next time .I’m not wasting my money here. You all have lost a good customer! I usually come here for enchiladas but there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants like LA Tapatia

We visited this place for the first time and Sunday morning. The place looks very busy and somewhat loud. My first impression was that the coffee was very good very hot and that was available right away. In this restaurant you order at the counter and you pick up your food yourself. We ordered Tacos and a breakfast plate. My opinion about the tacos is that they were somewhat shiny with oil and very salty, especially the beans and cheese. They served me the wrong taco in my order so I went back to request a correct one.
The breakfast plate was well served. Their pancakes are good well cooked and good flavor.
The restaurant has very appealing decorations and it’s very colorful. The music is loud although you can have a conversation going.
We will come back to try other plates in the menu.

We ordered two cheese enchilada plates and we don’t mind onions, but we have one piece of chopped onion per every price of shredded cheese. How are guest suppose to enjoy cheese enchiladas… when it’s half onions and half cheese? It was through door dash so nothing will happen, but I’ve been there before and they were great. Just be consistent through all aspects of the business please.

My husband and I stopped in for a couple of breakfast tacos. The prices are much higher than many other places and if you want to add cheese or would like corn tortillas instead of flour the price is really ridiculous! The food was good but in my opinion not great. We did not care for the refried beans. The chips are light and tasty and the salsas are great!! With so many other Mexican restaurant options, unfortunately we won’t go out of our way to eat here again.
