We had the chance to eat at Mama Mandie’s in Fairfield during the Soldier Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb weekend, and it was one of those experiences that sticks with you long after the meal is over.
The pizza was outstanding. You can immediately tell the dough is made fresh by hand — it had that perfect texture and flavor that only comes from real care and craftsmanship. Absolutely delicious. Then we tried the homemade cheesecake for dessert… and wow. Easily one of the best we’ve had. We found out it was baked by the owner’s daughter, which made it even more special knowing the pride and talent behind it.
But the real highlight of the night wasn’t just the food — it was the family. The owner’s young son was helping in the restaurant, and it was something special to witness. He politely asked his mom if he could take our order, did a fantastic job under her supervision, and even asked if he could carry our food out to us. He was so respectful, so happy, and clearly proud to help his family.
It’s rare to see that kind of work ethic and heart in someone so young. Honestly, I’d go back just to see that young man helping again. It was inspiring.
Excellent food. Incredible homemade desserts. And a beautiful family running a business the right way.
We will absolutely be back.

We came in here for the first time since they opened, and everything we had was very tasty! We started with the Italian chop salad, then moved on to pizza. Very yummy!
Updated review- we ate here again about a month ago, and something has changed with the pizza. The cheese tasted totally different and not in a good way. It was a little disappointing. I’m not sure if they ran out of the regular cheese or what happened.
Hopefully, they just ran out of the regular mozzarella.

The gals that work there are always the sweetest. The restaurant is always clean. Their gluten free options are so delicious. Best gluten free crust!!! Great chef salads too.

The staff are super sweet and friendly! This is the best pizza I have ever had! You must stop in and try! The owner makes the dough from scratch and the cheese is so flavorful and just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend next time you are in Fairfield!

The owner Mandie and the other gal working were super awesome and the pizza omg it’s amazing. Home made awesomeness. Our son won’t ever eat stuffed crust and he devoured it. A must stop for sure if you hit Fairfield when they are open! Definitely worth the drive from Jerome and we will be back!!

We had hoped to get a pizza today … however, Mandie was busy working at the Seniors Center. As such, she and her staff treated us to a delicious lasagna lunch complete with a great salad bar and homemade apple crisp dessert !! Mandie also took time to tell us the history of Fairfield and the Bannock Indian Tribe. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Fairfield !! We look forward to our next visit and a delicious pizza too.
