Ive came here previous times which were all great but this past week I came here to eat with my husband and it was really disappointing. The plantains as you can see look soggy as if they were way past ripe, he asked for a well done steak and it was still red with blood inside, the beans on my plate were way too salty, and the whole meal was just off as if they had a different cook that day or something. Like I said,been here bout 7-8 times and it’s always been good but this time it was a waste of money then the flies didnt help at all.

When I first started going over 4 years ago the service was good.Now they are rude especially the ones who have been there for years. I ordered ribs,French fries and salad.dine in.The young lady asked do I want something to drink I said yes just water please..My food comes out and what do I get..ribs ends or tips but definitely not ribs with the bone..I told the girl I ordered ribs not ends.she tells me when we bring the food out you look at it we can’t take it back.I said I ordered ribs not ends so to make me feel better she brings me out 1 over cooked rib with the bone as if I was supposed to jump for joy..I really didn’t want to get disrespectful so I ate some fries grab my to go trays and left..mind you I never received that water I asked for in the beginning of my visit there I honestly believe if you’re not like them you will not get good service..There food is good some days but not good enough for you to serve me what you want me to have. While sitting there I was looking at everyone else’s food ppl who are like them and their plates were well put together greeted with smiles and good service and then there was me Respectful service goes a long way I won’t be going back . The women in there have really gotten BIG HEADED AND THEIR ATTITUDES SUCK

I have eaten here many times usually their rotisserie chicken,fries and rice and it is good but recently the last 2 times ive had it everything taste very salty including the green sauce that they give you and i get a headache after eating a small portion of the food and it wasnt like that before..
I dont know who is doing the seasoning now but they are very heavy handed with the salt the chicken taste salty, they add salt to the fries after its cooked and the yellow rice taste salty. Im not a huge fan of a stronge taste of salt especially if im getting headache after i eat the food. I will wait a while before i try the food again but they really need to lighten up on the amount of salt they use….

I’ve been to this establishment many times and usually haven’t had major issues, but my most recent experiences left me uncomfortable and disappointed.
On multiple occasions when I order ribs, I’m given the end pieces, which are consistently tougher than the rest. It started to feel intentional, especially since I’m American and there is often a language barrier when I call, Spanish is spoken first, and I usually have to wait for an English-speaking employee.
Recently, my husband picked up food, but I stopped in afterward to purchase extra salad dressing. I made it clear that I was willing to pay for it, yet the employee told me, “You no order food,” and refused. When I repeated that I would pay, she said, “It’s not about the money,” which was confusing and made the interaction uncomfortable. Eventually, she said, “I found one,” as if it were hidden away, even though we were standing in a restaurant where condiments should be readily available.
The entire situation made me feel awkward over something very small and left a bad impression. The moral here is simple: make enough product available and treat all customers the same whether they’re ordering a full meal or just an add-on, with respect and consistency. Unfortunately, this experience has made me decide not to return.

Delicious food, looking forward to come back and try more stuff.
It would have been a great experience if at the end I wouldn’t have realized that on the bill all the prices were increased by $3 and $4 each item compared to the menu.
When we asked the menu again, first they refused and after when they brought it they said that all the prices have increased and they didn’t update the menu.
Come on, if you advertise those prices you must give me those prices or at least you must let me know when I order that prices are different.
Not sure if they apply different prices for tourists/occasional customers and Locals.

This Ecuadorian bbq place is a hidden gem. While the environment may initially feel like a typical lunch counter spot, take a minute to appreciate the ambience of the pit fire rotisserie. Don’t pay any attention to the reviews that give “I’ve never been out of the US before and it shows”. There is a bit of a language barrier but that’s part of the experience of getting this level of authenticity. Also, the portions are huge. We can order two combos on Friday and still be eating off it all weekend. Finally, this spot may have the best milkshakes I’ve had since 1985.

The flavors were exquisite!!! The portion size was generous, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the steak with medium rare and it tastes great and tender. I really enjoyed the tres leches cake too!
