Absolutely love this restaurant. My Italian heritage makes for fond memories when we visit here. Had the privilege of knowing the ‘original’ owners – Mama and Frank. They started their business in the Detroit area – where I grew up. The food was excellent then and happy to see the traditions carry on. Mushroom/cheese omelet with the homemade toast is delicious. LOTS of mushrooms. Only thing – would love to see them serve pastas a little earlier. Nothing wrong with gnocchi for breakfast – I’ve had it many times 🙂 Hope they stay for many more years.

Great server, menu is huge. We had the meatball pizza. Really good. Got an order of meatballs to go. Had the fried ravioli, didn’t care for it. Will be back. Returned June 2023. Had lasagna and another pasta dish. Really bad. I updated all of the menu pages on June 09, 2023. Likey won’t return.

Kind of a dumpy old Italian joint, been there forever… Really good food. They used to serve breakfast, not sure if they still do…

We wanted authentic Italian, a good pie and some wine, and boy did we find it! What an excellent dining experience. The staff was great, the wine perfect and the food delicious. I had the spicy seafood pasta dish and was very pleased with my choice. The bread came out warm and yummy. My only regret is that when we left Gaylord I forgot the remaining pie in the hotel fridge, it would have been a perfect snack on the way home. I recommend this place highly and look forward to returning.

The main dishes were burned or flavorless. Bread sticks were at least soft just didn’t have any flavor. Waste of $80. Won’t be purchasing from again.

So, let me start by saying, I was so impressed. There was a sigh saying it may be a little longer for service due to server shortage, there was zero delay, service was fast, accurate and attentive. The food, was top notch, no kidding. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I expected a crowd with Food this darn good! Portions were very generous and super delicious. I can’t even find the words for it. Will be back and highly suggest you try this place as it is currently one of the most underrated yet terrific places in or near Gaylord!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I took my daughter there for her 18th birthday. We ordered the calamari and we were brought out literal Gorton’s Fish Sticks. Literal fish sticks. I sent it back to the kitchen and asked for actual calamari. The waiter insisted that it was the real deal. I didn’t hold out much hope for the rest of the meal. My daughter ordered a seafood pasta dish and the noodles were so overdone that they turned to mush as the kiddo was trying to twirl it onto her fork. There was so much garlic in this dish that it was inedible, not to mention the bits of mussel shell that littered her meal. I ordered the chicken carbonarra and same situation with my noodles. Mushy. Extremely salty chicken and the sauce tasted sour. It was very very cold in the bar area where we ate and the waiter said the dining room wasn’t much better. Our breads were old and hard and we were not served olive oil or vinegar. I ordered an Old Fashioned (whiskey drink) and the waiter rolled his eyes and said they didn’t have any bitters. That’s not necessarily a problem per se …. but it became a problem with the attitude that was thrown at me. Now I understand why there are never any cars in the parking lot. This place is just plain gross.

Well we were excited to try this place out and had high hopes coming in since there’s an old school Italian feel here. The cheesey breadsticks were delicious and left us wanting more. And then we waited and waited… Lost track of how long it took but there was a big delay after the breadsticks and our main meal. Food was definitely underwhelming. Salty chicken, sauce and noodles. None of what we got stood out except the cheesey bread. I’ve tried plenty of Italian places and this place did not hit the mark.
