This is my second time ordering from here. I got the jumbo dog. I was expecting it to be loaded like a Chicago style hot dog but it was just a hot dog on the bun. Otherwise the calzones are good, the gyro sandwiches are good also. The burgers are pretty big and tasty as well. Will come back.

If you are at or near six flags Gurnee IL, stop by Mama K-s you will not be disappointed. Located right across from the entrance of six flags off Route 132, the sandwiches, pizza, specials, will not disappoint you. I am a local resident and visit this place often.
Take a look at the daily specials pictured. My go to for a lighter meal is the Greek Chicken salad, always fresh vegatables, chicken is perfect, the dressing is delicious.

Neat place nearby all the resorts and attractions. The pizza is great, but I am not so particular for this style of thin crust.

Ive lived in the area for 4 years and im shocked I never heard about Mama K’s. There food is delicious! The Steak Tacos are better than many of the Mexican restaurants in the area. The couple who runs this place are very friendly. They also have plenty of dessert options and space to sit outside to enjoy ice cream or a shake.

Went here after I graduated because my parents spoke highly of them! Everything was perfect from the fries, burger, and milkshakes! It’s one of those small restaurants that actually have great food which is rare. Highly recommend if you’re in town

A hole in the wall kind of a place that is well worth visiting!
This location is right across the street from the exit of six flags. However, when we went in there a prime lunchtime on a perfect six flags day, hardly anyone was in this place. What a shame since the food was really good. I did not check but I’m sure that the Burger King right across the street was probably packed even though there’s no comparison in food quality.
It’s definitely worth a visit to this place. Come support this family run place. You won’t regret it.

The pizza was just okay, nothing to brag about. The crust and toppings were decent, but overall the flavor was really bland and lacking any punch. Prices were fair, but I was hoping for something a little more memorable. Not terrible, just not something I’d go out of my way for again.

We (4 adults 6 kids) came after a day at six flags looking for a good meal before heading home and this was the perfect place. They told us we could arrange the tables and sit wherever we wanted.
Very family friendly small dining area. The staff put on a movie for the kids via Netflix so they were well occupied while waiting for food which was maybe 20 min.
We got a large pizza and beer nuggets, both very tasty. I have never had something like beer nuggets (chowed down before getting a pic) and they were so good! One of the staff members gave our 3 year old picky eater some fries even though we didn’t order them, how nice. He also gave us a pizza cutter to cut smaller slices for the kids.
I would stop here again just for the food but the friendly accommodating staff took it to the next level for a great experience. Thank you.

The food here at Mama K’s is fantastic!! The fries are nice and crispy on the outside and soft and hot in the inside. Best fries ive ever had hands down! My tuna sandwich was beyond amazing, my husbands pizza puff was perfect.
