Shopping on Daytona Beach and we found this really hip restaurant for lunch. The decor has lots of rhythm and repitition. And as an architect this place is cool. Speaking of rhythm, the mix of music was more like a club atmosphere and very loud. I can only imagine it’s probably hopping at night. Right on the water with great views.
The food…I had the Motherclucking Chicken sandwich. Very good thick piece of chicken topping and it didn’t break apart on your hands like some due. My partner had the Fich and Chips. The batter was a little thick for his taste but still good.
If you’re looking for a fun time out good music and reasonably priced American food. It’s a bit like Fords garage but seemingly not a chain. Food is definitely better here than at Ford’s. I didn’t think this was pricey at all. Certainly a step above the other fit and finish with average materials juxtaposed in new ways.

The atmosphere is really nice, and the service was nice as well. However the utensils had food on it, as well as the water bottle that was given to us. The water also tasted like well water. Our server explained the dishwasher didn’t always work the best and apologized.

The consistency of the fried deviled eggs was hard to get over. I think frying it made the outer part of the egg rubbery. The chicken with the pasta was very dry, however the burger and the fries were good.

Wife and i decided on a nicer restaurant for date night. I found this place and let me say I’m so glad I did! The restaurant itself is extremely easy to get to and park at. Plenty of boats around to see as well. We got there 15mins before our reservation (granted we did go on a Sunday) and were immediately seated. Our waiter Doug immediately came and greeted us and asked if we would like a personal heater for our table since we decided on outside seating and it was a little windy. After that the service was nothing but extraordinary! Since we came on a Sunday there were a few menu items out of stock even the two entrees that were our first options. Doug immediately began giving other options similar to those dishes and even offered to have the pasta custom made for my wife to have what she wanted. We decided on the shrimp scampi and wagyu smash-burger. After our entree Doug described the dessert dishes to us and we could not resist the not so key lime pie! Doug then proceeded to have an amazing conversation with my wife and I before putting our dessert order in to allow our dinner to settle. After the food was all gone and stomachs full Doug continued to make our dining experience one of a kind. Answering questions we had about cost of living in the area to telling each other some of our stories. Even the outside bartender was talking with us like a friend and the experience as a whole felt like no restaurant ever, they just care here!
Only reason I don’t give this specific experience 5 stars is because I reallyyyy wanted to try the grouper (which was unfortunately out of stock) but it’s a good excuse to come back so that I’m able!

Amazing food, amazing vibe, amazing people. We had a great experience here! The blackened grouper over grits was absolutely phenomenal!! Our server was so lovely! He apologized for the wait (even though there was barely even a wait!! We were perfectly fine) and got us some free specialty Jell-O shots that were SO YUMMY! A great experience all around 🙂

Celebrated our teens birthday here. Ended up in their semi private table space, which we appreciated except that it was freezing in there. Service was pretty slow… we were a party of 10 but still felt it wasn’t that crowded in the restaurant overall for us to be there a total of 3 hours. Got the deviled eggs and spinach dip as appetizers… I would skip those in the future. They don’t really have a kid menu but can make some kid sized pastas. I had short rib for my entree. It was good but tasted slightly scorched. The tomahawk pork chop was the star of the show… excellent! The teens thought the rigatoni and fettuccine were just ok. Overall it was a decent experience and I’d give it another try.

I really loved everything about our experience tonight. The service was lovely. Our server was really awesome and made some great recommendations! We got a bunch of small plates and don’t regret it one bit. They were all delicious. Deviled eggs, arancini, fried pickles, cheesy bread, and the fig and burrata crostini… all yummy! The cocktails were also really good and they have a pretty vast menu which we loved! I will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I went to Mama Foo Foo’s for Valentine’s Day and they did not disappoint!! We had the chicken satays and the spinach and goat cheese dip for apps (delicious) and then the Handcut Steak and Rigatoni Bolognese for dinner! The steak melted in my mouth along with the garlic mashed potatoes! On top of the delicious food, we had Joshua as our server and man! He was probably the best server I’ve ever had! His personality was great and he was very good at taking care of us even though it was super busy! Can’t wait to come back again

The location is great right on the riverfront and marina. Interior area is decorated appropriately. Bartender “Red” made a special cocktail for us and it did not disappoint. The salmon and scallops dishes were on point. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Would order again for sure.

My family and I visited Mamá Foo Foo on a Saturday after seeing their advertisement for a Latin Night experience. We drove in from different cities (Orlando and Tampa), and we were excited to have dinner and then enjoy music and dancing afterward.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, it has a great vibe, unique décor, and a nice view overlooking the bay. The atmosphere definitely has potential.

However, the experience fell short in several areas. The menu was limited because several items were unavailable, and the food we were able to order was unfortunately not very good. My brother in law also tried ordering a beer, and they didn’t have any, which was surprising for a restaurant/lounge environment.

After dinner, we were looking forward to Latin music as advertised, since that was the reason we chose this location. But the DJ mostly played hip-hop and only put on one Latin song here and there when requested, before switching back again. It felt inconsistent and very different from what was promoted.

The place truly has potential, beautiful space, great location, and a fun concept, but it seems like there are issues with management, inventory, and consistency between what is advertised and what is actually offered.

Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the lack of menu options, the quality of the food, and the misleading Latin Night experience made the visit disappointing.
