I tried the lunch special, the meatloaf, green beans and mashed potato salad, were delicious, it includes the drink. My hubs had a BBQ plate that met his approval. Dessert was tea cakes and 7-up cake. Funky old building but everything was clean. We’ll be back as it’s extremely convenient to the medical center. Lovely folks.

My second visit in as many days. I had the chicken spaghetti yesterday had the catfish today with red beans and fried okra. It comes out hot and the portions are big man-sized. Then I find out that Mama E (Edmonds)is actually doing the cooking !!

Mamas cooking was on point. I had smothered pork chops, green beans and baked beans. Everything was homemade. Felt like I was at mamas house grabbing a plate. Mmmm good go try it for real.

I came here because I saw good reviews before covid. Something g had to change because this is by far the worst place I ever had. Food in Vietnam is probably better. Food is 3 says old minimum

Mama E’s BBQ service was really great and the kool-aid was on point but the ribs, miracle salad( it was suppose to be potato salad ) and the peach cobbler was GREY! I didn’t even attempt to eat that. The ribs tasted boiled and old. A waste of money. They could’ve just gave me 7 kool-aids. I must say the chopped beef sandwich didn’t make it to the expressway lol. It was good

Quaint and homey family owned BBQ spot in Fort Worth. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch with 2 coworkers. The staff was incredibly friendly, personable, professional, and accommodating. Limited menu but delicious food! The food was serve hot and was amazing. The portion sizes were large enough to take some home a d good for the value. I will absolutely be back here.

The older lady was super nice and helpful explaining the menu and what they had. I was not happy with the food. The cornbread dressing was a bit overcooked and tasted mostly like cornbread but not dressing. The brisket was overcooked and greasy. I have a super sensitive stomach so I won’t be going back. If I do go back to try them on another day, it will only be because i had great customer service.
