A nice Mexican restaurant. Great service. Very good food with a large selection menu. The atmosphere was pleasant. Good contemporary Mexican music was playing, not the folksy band stuff. Pricing was in keeping with other restaurants at today’s high prices. Cheese dip was great as was the shrimp and rice plate. We will be back.

Servings are huge!(hand for comparison) it’s a great price for the amount of food you get and not only that it was DELICIOUS! I plan to take my family here soon! The service was phenomenal and quick as well. We got Mexican pasta and Chile Verde. My husband and I went to eat, for the first time, at Mama Coco in Vestavia, AL and couldn’t believe how amazing the food tasted. We’d been looking for a better tasting – more authentic – Mexican restaurant and we’ve found what we were looking for!! We both had great tasting meal plus we were just in time for happy hour margaritas which were wonderful!! The entire family will enjoy the delightful decorations straight from the Disney movie Mama Coco!

The atmosphere is nice the place is pretty spacious!! The food was good and you get you’re moneys worth because the portions are HUGE!!! I had a grande strawberry margarita with my meal and it was chilled and mixed perfectly!!!

We came because of the great reviews and they are justified. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is super nice, friendly and attentive. We split the Mama Coco fajitas. It was more than enough food for two people. Everything was delicious and hot. All the food is wonderfully flavored and different from any Mexican food we’ve had elsewhere, in a really good way.
