Have wanted to try this place for years. Finally did and it did not disappoint. Excellent carne asada burrito smothered with sauce and cheese. Perfect amount to split with another person. Chips were top notch and the salsa and the perfect amount of heat.

Dined here many times. The food is incredibly consistent. The flour tortillas are always hot and fresh. My one negative is that every steak dish I’ve ever gotten has always been dry due to the thin cuts. Other than that, I feel as their dishes are well balanced. Prices are fair. This place is worth giving a try! (Would give a 4.5 if I could)

Got the carne asada burrito, very good. Pretty big. Meals for both my wife and I without drinks cost about 40$ after tip. I’ll be back. Very friendly staff and the food came out very quickly. Would highly recommend. We went on a Friday night and it was busy but there was zero wait to be seated. Compared to other Mexican places in provo and Orem I think this one is near the top.

We have been going here for years.
It is good food. Really consistent and always good.
The portions are a little smaller than a lot of Mexican places, but I prefer that. It’s nice to not feel like you have to be rolled out, but you’re still very full.
The employees are always great.
We usually do takeout so I have included two pictures of takeout, but I highly recommend it

I grew up in San Diego and had the privilege of eating good Mexican food at plenty of places. Unfortunately Mama Chus is nowhere close to that level.
I got the carne asada burrito and paid extra for cheese. The food came out pretty quick. The amount of steak in the burrito was extremely underwhelming with a lot of it just underutilized empty space. The beans were very runny, diluted with grease and/or water. There was only so many bites I could take of it all before it started to become unsettling. Don’t know why but I packed it up to-go. When I tried to eat it the next day I couldn’t stomach it so I threw it all out.
The plate is large, yes, but the majority of it is the beans and rice. On the menu it says your table is limited to two containers of chips & salsa when you’re dining in. I’ve NEVER seen a restaurant put a limit like that.
The value is not there for the prices they’re charging. You’re better off grabbing a burrito at Rancherito’s/Beto’s…

This is a little hole-in-the-wall place withe great, fresh food and good service. This is our go-to Mexican food when we’re in Utah Valley. We have yet to be disappointed here!

I ordered the Combination plate with Two shredded beef burritos. I received two cubed pork burritos.
My wife ordered an extra side of rice, never received it.
When we called to let them know, they said it was not possible for my burritos to be pork.
Photos attached of what I got, vs my wife’s beef she got.
They refused to do anything about the issue.
Also, rice was undercooked and the beans were very liquidy.
Very unhappy with the food. The people were very nice at first though. ♂️

Great location with a fairly friendly staff. Had one lady there that watched over the place, and didn’t say much. She didn’t even say a word when I checked out to pay. Was a little weird. But the rest of the staff was very friendly. The food came out so fast! Literally 2 minutes after I ordered, the food was at my table. I ordered the #14, two beef tacos and one beef enchilada. The plate was so hot it was like they had the food pre-made, and then just nuked it. Everything was very watered down and bland in taste. Not a great meal, but the prices are decent.
