Starting at the NW corner, we stopped for lunch after riding two of the three Twisted Sisters roads, 335 and 337.
I ordered two beef enchiladas’ meal with beans and rice and fresh made chips. Had red and green chile salsa. Great quick lunch service. This place was recommended by a local male.

We had a late dinner as party of a large group, and the service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere of the place is honey and welcoming. I ordered the carne guisada and found good seasoning a little bit on the salty side. The fajita plate was well served with good portions.

We asked what was the best item on the menu. We’re told “everything” ordered chicken enchilada with green sauce. I took 1 bite and wanted to spit it out. Microwaved food on a plate and had a hard time finding the green sauce. Glad we ordered only 1 plate to split. Most of it was left on the plate. I had beens and rice off the plate and he tried to have a few bites of the enchilada. Place didn’t look very pleasant/healthy inside or outside.

This that down home cooking style of Mexican food. Not the fanciest, but wow, it’s good.
Especially the tortillas!
The dining area is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service was quick and efficient. We had a large party and only one slight mistake.
The meat was tender, and gravy was well seasoned. The chips were hand-made there as well as their tortillas. It was a great place to stop for some good Mexican food.

If this place had 10 stars….first let me start off by saying we were a party of 8. Service was beyond excellent and they had a full house. We are Hispanic and know what good Mexican food tastes like. Every single dish we got was delicious, tasty, yummy, savoring. I can go on. The Carne guisada is out of this world. Would definitely return.

The food was ok. I wasn’t impressed with it. I asked for a box for our food and I got a look at the kitchen, I wished I hadn’t. It was kinda nasty and for the price I paid for our food ( expensive), you’d think the service and the place and the food would have been a little better. I don’t think we’ll be going back there anytime soon.

Visiting Concan Texas for our glamping trip. Tried this small cozy Mexican food place (not fancy but fairly clean).
Everything from chips & salsa (reg & spicy green chilly), chicken quesadillas, chicken enchiladas, beef & chicken fajita and chicken street taco were absolutely tasty. Meat was cooked to perfection & flavors were bussin. Most importantly the owner/servers were really nice. We even ordered extra food as take out for dinner.
