5/5 hands down! My husband normally doesn’t tell me to review places, but he pushed for me to leave one! Food was amazing! Atmosphere is cute, shabby chic kind of vibe. The music was good too and played into the whole southern feel. And the service was on point! We were seated almost immediately, our server checked on us often. Not only that, we were checked on by multiple people. The food came out in a decent time frame as one expects. The menu actually made it hard to choose, everything looked amazing, and what we chose absolutely was! The only complaint we have is that we didn’t have enough room to finish our meal! Definitely coming back when we’re in town again!

We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant and sat right away. I was sort of surprised by this since it was a Saturday during what I would assume is the breakfast rush.
We had a starter of fried pickles and those were just perfect. I’ve never had them a thin slice like that before but they we’re truly like pickle fries!!
My boyfriend was ecstatic to try the bloody Marys with bourbon. Definitely more up his alley than mine but he must have loved them as he had two! I tried to piece of the bacon that was in the bloody Mary but the bourbon flavor was very strong for me.
Grits were AMAZING! I ordered grits and pork belly, to me the grits were the standout of the meal. Just need a little bit of salt on top but that’s just my personal preference, and they had cheese in there. Just amazing!!
And I know the chicken fried steak with gravy was amazing because I didn’t even get a bite of it. He ate it right up!
Guess that means we’ll be going back to try more

When people say you should try ppaces “off the strip”, this place is why. The Double Brisket burger was delicious. Potato bun was perfect for this burger. My wife ordered a chicken salad that was delicious. All the dressing was perfectly mixed in not just drizzled on top. Found a new spot for return visits. Do not pass on the spicy fried green beans.

This bourbon bloody mary is the best bloody mary I’ve had in a very long time. Nice and spicy, how i like it. I also had the fried pickles and chicken fried steak. Both were delicious. I do wish there were some fried potatoes or hash browns to go with the chicken fried steak. The staff and environment were amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try more.

I had the ribs and found them tasty, but a little too salty for me. Not so much that I could not eat them. Mac & Cheese was very good, but once again a little bit salty. It is possible that it was an evening where my taste buds were sensitive to salt. I would return.

Overall good experience here. Service was good. We were greeted and seated immediately which was nice. I ordered the watermelon lemonade which was delicious and really refreshing. My husband had the peach apricot ginger beer, which was also yummy. For food, I ordered the 2 thighs with jalapeño cornbread and grits. My husband ordered the mac & cheese chicken tenders waffle sandwich (which was huge) & came with fries. Food came out quickly & hot! We each had leftovers to take home for another meal later. Grits were decent, cornbread was delicious and the chicken was crispy, although I had a few chewy pieces. My husband enjoyed his sandwich & looks forward to his leftovers later. I would recommend this place and would dine again.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. The brisket grilled cheese was delicious, and the hushpuppies were the best I have ever had. My husband enjoyed the collard greens and ribs as well. The deviled eggs and watermelon lemonade were unexpected treats. Our only complain was that the biscuits were dry. This one is a must!

He had the chicken fried steak breakfast and I had the smoked pulled pork sandwich. Both were amazing! Such good sauces, cooked by people you could tell knew what they were doing. We were visiting from out of town and so glad we gave it a try! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Holy cow! Let me start by saying I’m not a foodie. If it’s edible and tastes okay, I’m for it. With that being said, I absolutely enjoyed my visit here. I don’t live anywhere near this joint but went out of my way after seeing the menu! Talk about a wicked variety. Service was quick, my old fashion was superb, and the scramble thing I ordered was… wow! I’ll be back!

After doing some running around we stumbled on Mama Birds looking for a late lunch spot.
When we arrived we were greeted right away and sat immediately. Our server sat us and she was friendly and accommodating right from the start. The restaurant is super clean and has a great atmosphere, it was truly Smoky inside from them actually smoking their meats. Again our server was prompt and attentive. She had our fabulous sweet tea drinks on the table fast. We placed our order and the appetizer came out fairly quickly. The spicy fried green beans were amazing, they were crispy and had great flavor. We ended up sharing the fried chicken and waffles and it was a good thing. The plate is hardy and has a really good sized portion. The chicken was moist inside and super crispy on the outside. The waffle was a little thin but had good flavor. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not asking for my eggs to be well done and the scrambled eggs came out wet and saucy. To their defense that’s the way they cook them so I wasn’t mad about it.
