I made a wrong turn and wound up here, what a find! Coffee was quite good and they had homemade baked goods outside of the usual bagel and muffin genre. I have an excellent selection of local books and the barista had actually read some of the ones that I selected, so she was able to provide some feedback. I came in for coffee and walked out with coffee, pastries, books, an extremely cool bandana for a friend, and some nice cards. Now my pockets are empty.

I love coffee and as much as I like to shop at local businesses I have run into enough bad/bitter/horrid coffee that I am gun shy about trying any. My husband is not as particular so I know that if I get it and it doesn’t suit me that he’ll drink it.

My first question anymore is how much espresso do they use in a certain size cup. That helps me determine how many pumps of syrup I need. The gal chatted with me about and didn’t fuss at the questions. We discussed my daughter, who is a small-town barista and the fun coffee station we have at home We ordered a caramel latte and it was perfect. NO bitter coffee taste, even with less pumps of syrup than most places use.

The strawberry Danish was our choice for a sweet. The other gal (possibly “Mama Bear” herself?) asked if we wanted it warmed up. We decided to. Let me tell you….I wish we had purchased 2. My husband and I ate that so fast it didn’t make it to the car and we were taking our order on the go. That said, it was probably a good thing we ate it before the car because it was super flaky. Yum!!

They also sell other items in the shops besides coffee and sweet.

P.S. I did see an egg filled baked yum that looked good too.

Love love love this place. It has become my new favorite spot for drinks and baked goods. The ladies that run the front are amazing as well as the bakers. The pastries are always so flavorful and flaky so amazing. Included is a picture of a Lavender Blackberry lemonade with Blueberry Bobba. Shout out to all you ladies.

My teen recommended Mama Bear first to me (which that alone is saying something!) The whole place is perfectly comfortable with plenty of neat books to discover. Theres also a well done rock and gem section for anyone who enjoys both the geology side and the crystals. And, of course, the baked goods are all delicious, the other foods are also tasty and well sized for any appetite. This is exactly what a good coffee shop should be.

Cinnamon rolls are AMAZING! Coffee was good and the jewelry from the rock collection were beautiful.

Only critique is that I was there during the summer and I suggested it to my husband a couple weeks ago in October while on his hunting trip, but they were closed for the season. Their online info doesn’t have their correct open hours that reflect that so maybe call before going to ensure they’re open.

We heard about the cinnamon rolls the night before and had to come try them. They did not disappoint! They are huge and absolutely delicious. Very cute and cozy inside. Two lattes and two huge cinnamon rolls for $10! I was shocked.

Great support local spot to enjoy a very yummy cinnamon bun.
Lovely casual environment.

We like to spread the love and travelling budget amongst a few businesses. Grab a awesome baked iyen here and then an amazing espresso coffee from the Lost Fox cafe/coffee on Hwy 145 close to here…. Definitely knows how to do lattes.

I stopped by for the first time and ordered a breakfast burrito. The server was great very friendly staff and the place had a cool vibe. I got my burrito to go, I was excited to get home and try it. I took a bit and found they had burnt the hash browns. Truly a disappointment cause I had high hopes for this place… I not sure on the pastries, but if you can’t make a burrito without messing it up I doubt the pastries are any better. I would not recommend.

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and they had a ham, egg, potato burrito available. Came with salsa side. Tasted great, and was big! $9. I was tempted to get a few cinnamon roll that I could smell just came out of the oven but that will have to wait for another time. They had a variety of baked goods and coffee in a neat shop to visit.
