Okay- ready for the REAL review? Another NW Houston food truck that doesn’t exist. I drove there (not that far out of my way, just wanting to confirm my hunch that it wasn’t there)- and well, guess what? There’s a food truck there selling empanadas- no barbecue. Just another misleading Google Maps entry that ain’t there, yo.

I got the rib sandwich and for some reason they took the meat off the bone. The meat was old and dry. Some of the meat was so dry and hard it was not editable. In all my years of eating bbq I have never gotten a rib sandwich with the meat removed from the bone and there was no smoked flavor to the meat at all. Bottom line it was a waste if $23. But on a more positive note the collard greens were good.

Picked up a family pack for dinner and the food was so delicious!! The brisket had the most amazing flavor! The sides were also so good! I will definitely be recommending Mama Anne’s to my family and friends! Even my super picky kids ate all their food.

My family and I randomly stopped here for a quick bite and might I say we were pleasantly pleased . The burgers were amazing. Even for my super picky 10year old. My husband tried the 6 wing basket, which he said was definitely worth the stop, and had me wishing I could have had a half burger half wing basket . Oh and let me add that the service matched the food…SUPERB!

Husband stopped here after work to bring my pregnant self some bbq. Sadly, we threw $25 for one plate of food right into the trash. We tried calling as well since we do not like leaving bad reviews, but no answer. I am not sure where these good reviews are coming from. I have never been served a rib that is this burnt and dry. We couldn’t even stomach the beans. Unfortunate – as we are looking to give more places a try around the neighborhood but this is a hard pass!

I ordered my food online and when I called about it they were closed, then I was told I couldn’t get a refund. I picked up the food the next day, and all of the meat was very dry and burned, I choked. The Mac was very very dry and the collard greens tasted like they have turned. Won’t go back again,

My coworkers and I just ate lunch from the food truck. It was AMAZING. I loved the chopped beef sandwhich, and the bbq sauce was SOOO GOOD. thank you guys!
