Stopped here a few months ago and couldn’t remember where it was, seen it as we was passing by and had to stop again! Great service, great prices and awesome food! Got 2 Trash Cans and fries this time!

Stopped here on a whim after some polite conversation and some suggestions from a kind employee. Every one of the workers/owners seemed very personable down to earth and polite! While being a malt shop with great shakes as well Their burgers and steak sandwiches were a instant hit with crispy yet flaky onion rings and doggie sundaes for your furry friends this is a must for future trips to the area very please with our experience on a busy holiday weekend!

Only picture I got while eating inside but I’ve never had a bad experience while either in the showboat restaurant or the malt shop. The cottage cheese is one of my favorite side dishes at the showboat and highly recommended. The Malt shop is a great place to visit during the summer months and definitely the best place to visit in the small town of Chesaning. Give it a try if you’re ever in the area.

Worth the wait! Food is delicious and made fresh. Onion rings and fries are hit and crunchy. Great local business that serves a wide menu of fried foods, burgers, and about 20 choices for ice cream, shakes, malts, mixers and more.

We have gone here a couple times and every time it has been consistently really good. The chicken here is FAR better than in the “famous chicken” in Frankenmuth! They make it fresh to order I think because it comes out steaming hot. It tastes just like fried chicken my grandma used to make. Leave is very good too! The only thing I don’t like is they won’t give you a glass of tap water…Annoying. The ice cream is also delicious! My favorite is the small cotton candy cone and I don’t even like real cotton Candy!
