Today was our second time at Mal’s Kitchen and honestly, what I’m about to say doesn’t make enough justice to the place. Mal, I work in the industry and I’m conscious about how much service and food quality has decay lately, so, it’s been such a good surprise to me finding this cozy small place that offers way too much. First, all the small details that you have all around the place makes me feel how important it is to you and to all the people that work there. Second, the staff, WOW, you know you’re lucky, right?! Those ladies are non-stop!!! Caring, mindful, courteous! I really feel cared when I’m having my breakfast. Third, the food, WOW! I cannot believe it you only have one cook and she does it ALL! My recognition to her, she’s always smiling and taking care of each plate to satisfy all the customers! And last but not least, you. You make me feel like home and we’re grateful for that. I have nothing but the best wishes to you and your Kitchen! More years to come, I won’t stop visiting!!! PS: I’m Gluten Free and they have PLENTY options for me, for those who were wondering! Thank you!!!

Wowza! This is a true hidden gem in Abington. Food was wicked delicious but what really impressed us was the service level was legendary! We ordered the Roll ‘‘em out breakfast which was perfect for my mans hearty appetite, the French toast was perfect. I had the breakfast Veggie Burrito, filled with spinach, broccoli, peppers just perfect for brunch. What truly makes Mals stand out was the entire staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Open Wednesday to Sunday and yes there will be a wait in the weekend but totally worth it. We will definitely be back.

Great place for breakfast!! My daughter and I were in the Abington area and searched for a breakfast spot and Mal’s came up seemed like a good spot, and it definitely was!! The people were so nice, the decor so cute and the food so good, especially the churro waffle special!! Will stop again anytime I’m in the area!!

This place is Great, only been open 5 months. Food is very good. Not a huge menu but that’s OK. My friends eggs were cooked perfectly. My Belgium waffle was smaller than I was expecting but flavor was perfect with the fresh strawberries. The yogurt parfait was wonderful, light and fresh. Homefries were nice and crispy but I like mine a little more seasoned. Bacon was excellent. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. Very comfortable setting but not huge so get there early. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were actually served by Mal the owner. She is awesome, such a sweetheart and super attentive. The rest of the staff is great as well, they work as a team. This place has so many little touches that make it great. They have this little display setup for cream and sweetener. They have this tiny pail for coffee trash. If you like the place you can leave a comment card and slide it in the table. Plenty of parking. This place receives my highest recommendation. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE support this wonderful local business.

Had breakfast here with my wife and 9 week old son. Cute little place, very accommodating and staff was all super friendly. Food was excellent – we had the veggie burrito and combo burrito and both were perfectly made burritos and very tasty. We also had a chocolate chip pancake that was delicious. Prices were very fair as well. We will be back again.

100% Recommend! the food was great! the staff was awesome!! it feels like a family gathering, is such a cozy place. You can tell the food was made by someone who truly enjoys what they do. It is kid friendly! Will be back many many times! Loved my experience!

Went in during a Sunday brunch rush. Amazing experience! Best omelet I’ve ever had. The decor is adorable and uplifting and seeing Mal (the owner) jump in and help everywhere possible with a smile on her face was was incredible. Highly recommend!

This place has great homestyle food, from waffles to home fries to Eggs Benedict. Everything here is fresh and hot of the stove when it comes. Well unless you order something cold, like tha Acai bowl. But anyways great food and the owner is extremely nice. I also love the decor, they are a bunch of positive signs everywhere. Highly recommend!

Ate here with my 93 year old grandpa and his 91 year old sister. The food was really good. Mal was sweet and went around from table to table to say hello and check that everything was alright. The food is great but the charm of this restaurant is its’ bright, fun decor (that I’m told changes from season to season) and warm friendly people.
