Not gunna lie, it looks good, but it was the worst lobster roll I have ever had. I took like 2 bites. It didnt taste like spoiled or anything, I just don’t think it was good. It was $40 and super crowded there too.

I thought my fried shrimp and clam strips were good. It wasnt supposed to come with fried fish but they gave me extra pieces which was hot and fresh. But my main shoutout was the older guy who worked cash register. With how crazy tipping culture is and especially at a self serve place, he didnt even let me pay a tip and pushed the no tip button for me right when it came up. That in in of itself wanted me to give him a tip, but since i didnt have cash he gets this excellent review.

Scam. I ordered the pork and cheese sandwich. It was lunchtime so that sandwich was under “Sandwiches.” The sign declared that all sandwiches come with chips and pickle. I received a miniature pork roll egg and cheese sandwich with no chips and pickle. When I asked about it, The girl told me every sandwich except “that one”. Would be amazing to know that before I spent $13 on a miniature kid sized sandwich with no sides. Exceptionally rude employees couldn’t care less and will just let you stand there.

Lobster cobb. Good portion size, and ok taste.
Bad:
– prices have gone up. Salad was $32 after tax
– they nearly gave my order to someone else. Lady at the deak didn’t really care or pay attention to the fact I had the buzzing buzzer

Yes, I should know better than to expect good food at an airport, but I had hopes. (That were dashed immediately). Absolutely one star for the fish tacos. At $27 for three, could you at least put some salt in them. Smothered in crème, stale teeny tiny shells and supposedly pico de gallo(which was gross shredded lettuce and soggy tomatoes) on them. They were tasteless. Long John Silver hold have been better. So the rating of three stars was for the Jersey Philly Cheesesteak. Crispy bread, hot beef and melted cheese. Yum! But again for $28 a little bit of a stretch. Their homemade chips were also really good. But my biggest pet peeve is that they up charged me 3% for employee benefits and retention. As a customer, I’m willing and even happy to pay for my food even at ridiculous prices. But it’s not my responsibility to pay for your employees benefits or retention. Shame!

* Warning, this is a very long review about a glass of Merlot in an airport restaurant.. 🙂

I don’t like to give a place low stars that without the reason but I do wanna make sure I write a review because it really bothered me and it ended my short trip to New York on a sour note.

This restaurant is located near GATE B where my gate was and I had a good hour and a half before I had to board Guysso I wanted a glass of wine to cut my nerves for the plane.

The bartenders seemed very nice and they were working their butts off, I have to say, but when I ordered a Merlot, they just came over with the credit card portion no itemized receipt (which is I believe not legal to)
It started getting busy so I reluctantly signed the credit card receipt of $29 (what the) and of course that doesn’t include tip so I only gave a $2 tip because I was a little taken back and confused.
I did feel bad about the low tip, but I noticed that there was a 3% surcharge for employee retention so I assume these employees also get that %?
I’ve never seen that employee retention charge in my life by the way.

As I sat there drinking my wine, it bothered me so much. I was trying to figure out why I was charged about $30 for a 9 ounce glass of mediocre Merlot and a plastic cup. I came across the Google reviews and it appears that I’m not the only one that was confused by this restaurants hidden pricing!

I’ve really felt the need to warn others, but I do realize that I could have done a little bit of research before I went to this restaurant I definitely take responsibility for that.
Again, nothing against the workers there and was nothing at all that I felt they did bad although I can can’t say that they went above and beyond. I’m sure they work very hard.

I really wish I had checked the reviews before ordering here—because if I had, I definitely wouldn’t have.

I ordered the Jersey Shore basket, which set me back over $30.

What did I get for that steep price?

A sad, overpriced basket of uninspired, lazily fried fish, shrimp, and fries, accompanied by a pile of ketchup packets and sauce.

It felt less like a meal and more like a cry for help.

I understand that airport food is expensive—tight margins, unpredictable foot traffic, all that.

But if you’re going to charge premium prices, at least serve something that feels remotely worth it. This was airport food at its worst: overpriced, underwhelming, and utterly forgettable.

Bottom line? I can’t recommend this place.

If you’re hungry, save yourself the disappointment.

Walk over to the B40-B43 gates, grab something healthier from a vending machine, or pick up a sandwich next door for half the cost.

Your stomach—and your wallet—will thank you.

I ordered a fish taco here this morning, but the lettuce and pico looked old and unappetizing, which was disappointing for a $30 meal at breakfast time. While inspecting the food, I found a long black hair, so I brought it to the counter. The staff member was polite and handled the situation professionally by discarding the dish and offering me the option to order something else. However, I ended up paying out of pocket for a burger instead, which thankfully was much better. I wasn’t offered any kind of discount or compensation for the inconvenience and wasted time, just a refund for the original meal, and then I had to pay again for new food. Where I’m from, I would’ve expected at least a partial discount or something to make up for the situation. The burger was really good though with fresh veggies added. I appreciates that, but the overall customer service didn’t meet my expectations.

Yes, airport food is expensive, but this miniscule portion size for a $22 calamari appetizer is a rip-off. The beer selection was solid.

Yvette, and Angela were flipping fantastic bartenders. I was Privileged to be served by both, with fantastic attentive service. It was a Thursday early afternoon, price for beverage was great; beer and shot, and the food wasn’t disappointing. I had the Greek salad , and lobster roll. I took a picture of the roll because you never know what to get with lobster rolls. I’m truly happy with these two fine women taking great care of the bar; maintaining cleanliness and attentiveness with the guests
