Update (2/4/23): CLOSED??
Don’t think they ever got their act together and have shut down. If so, it’s a shame: No initial business plan (no marketing for Grand Opening, balloons or flyers), staff wasn’t fully trained to answer customer questions (not their fault), hours kept changing, open days kept changing, etc. Phone numbers seem to be out of service too.
10/11/22: My family ordered a spot dinner, 2 whiting dinners, and a trout dinner. Everything was hot, plentiful, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS! The sides of coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies were great compliments to the crispy fish. (Grateful the hush puppies were delicious. Ain’t nothing like a gross, flavorless hush puppy.) Didn’t get desserts this trip, but will check them out soon with the next order.
They’re a welcome addition to the neighborhood, but need to make their presence better known with all the surrounding competition. Looking forward to the next meal! Yummy

This place is awesome and so is the food! in addition, the customer service is great! I visited this evening and ordered the fish and shrimp combo. The shrimps were huge and the fish was fried to perfection!! Everything was flavored nicely fresh and hot! I will definitely be going back. If your looking for good seafood, look no further. I almost forgot the crab cake!! delish!! 10 out of 10. Fort Washington’s hidden treasure!

I had high hopes and was looking for another restaurant in our as it is needed. However, I was so disappointed. First the customer service received was not good. I asked the cashier a few questions because it was our first time and we had allergies. After asking my second question, the cashier went in the kitchen to ask and you heard the owner say I don’t have time for this. You don’t have time to answer question of your customers. First of all you would not have to answer questions if all your staff was trained to know whether your fish was farmed or wild caught. Further more if they knew hear type of breading was used for the seafood (panko, flour, etc.)
Next, I understand they are new and have to work out kinks but don’t take it out on your customers because you have run out of food. After placing our order which came up to over $100.00. And waiting 25 minutes the cashier tells us they don’t have any more shrimp. We’ll two of our order was the shrimp combo.
Let me sum it up to say, this establishment has to improve if they want to stay in business. They need to improve on customer service, quality and taste. To pay over $17.00 for an entree and receive a 2oz souffle cup as a side is UNACCEPTABLE! Also to spend over 25 minutes for my food still have to season it and still make sides, and to be served raw, tough uncooked chicken is ridiculous!
Also if you run out of food let your customers know in the begining not after waiting for ever and to have your customers standing outside because you locked the door because you ran out of food is unacceptable

Our party had the Catfish, Whitling, Shrimp & Crab cakes – everything was hot & delicious. Service was very friendly & fast. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
