I have only ever eaten at their food truck, but let me tell you! Hands down the best bbq in town in my personal opinion. I’d rather go here then anytime we get bbq the meats are smoked so perfectly the chef must do the little chef kiss when he’s done cutting it up. The bbq sauces are 2nd to absolutely none they sound a little odd considering it’s bbq sauce but take a step on the wild side and you’ll never come back the peach bbq sauce is oh so good and during fall they have one with maple and something else in it that I could prolly eat just about anything if I put it on there by far my favorite. They are always so friendly and helpful of your stuck and can’t decide. If you visit the food truck they are kind enough to bring your food right out to you when it’s all done. The prices are similar to big bbq places but oh so worth it! For two we usually spend the same if not a little less then if we had gone to bandanas but it’s sooooo worth it. I drove up to get lunch on one of their closed days and was so sad I think I had a tear fall from a pure broken heart. This isn’t one of those reviews that’s posted by friends or family with full 5 stars this is a legitimate review from a overwhelmingly satisfied customer! This review was left after eating there many times over months and never being left disappointed.
Oh and I have to add! They have a loyalty/rewards program which you know the moment I found out I had to sign up.

The food and service at this establishment have been exceptional every time I have visited. However, the prices are quite high. I recently paid $20 for a small Pit Sausage Sandwich and coleslaw. While I understand that the cost of meat has increased, $16 for a sandwich consisting only of bread and sausage feels excessive. I have sampled several items on the menu, including the Brisket and Pork Nachos, which are excellent and reasonably priced. The service consistently stands out. Every employee I have encountered has been remarkably kind and accommodating, and the fact that they deliver the food directly to your car is impressive. It is difficult to find better service.

Mallard BBQ is unbelievable! We had them for our daughter’s wedding, and people are STILL talking about the food. Perfectly smoked, full of flavor, generous portions, and some of the best BBQ we’ve ever tasted. If you’re anywhere near Sedalia, don’t miss the chance to try them — you’ll be blown away. Outstanding service and incredible food.

As first timers, we ordered the brisket plate with fries and the corn and were very pleased with everything! The brisket had wonderful flavor and was so tender!!!!
The corn was in a creamy base with a nice bite of spice!
We look forward to stopping by again, next time will be trying the Collard Greens!!!

If you are looking for bbq that will bring comfort to you no matter where you are at this is the place for you! As soon as my now husband and I got engaged we knew we wanted Trevor to cater our wedding and at the time we planned on doing a very traditional wedding in Missouri. Well needless to say plans changed and we asked Trevor if he could bring his food to Colorado and without batting an eye he said of course! Somehow he was able to bring the comfort of Midwest BBQ to the mountains to have a little taste of home with us and it was the perfect touch to our day. He was a great communicator, very adaptable to any changes, and most importantly the food was AMAZING!! I have to give a special shoutout to the Ozark Coffee Collab BBQ sauce because now that is my go-to sauce for any of his meals and will forever take me back to my wedding day! Thanks so much Trevor + your family for being amazing people and business owners!

5 stars all day, every day. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve ever had from Mallard’s BBQ. My favorite meat is the pulled pork, favorite side is the cheesy mashed potatoes (or the fries.. it’s hard to choose between the two!) If I had to pick one item that takes the cake for me… it’s the jalapeño brisket poppers and homemade ranch. (pictured) So good!!
I’ve also had the pleasure of attending an event that Mallard’s has catered. Their set up was organized and clean, staff was professional and quick to replenish anything that had run out, food was hot and fresh.. I’d definitely recommend their catering services also!

I am pretty picky when it comes to BBQ. Mallard’s does it best. My ribs were cooked and flavored just right! DELICIOUS!!! I also ordered the greens. Never had them there, but needless to say……..DELICIOUS!!!
