Great place for a quiet dinner with friends. The menu is short but concise and it has options that will fit lost palates.
We opened with the fig and cheese salad (probably had a different name on the menu), a trio of vegetables tostadas and a savoury dip with pickled vegetables and fish that was one of the highlights of the night. All three dishes were remarkable.
My main dish was a rabbit tamales, which I enjoyed very much. The texture was simply perfect and the presentation eye catching. It was accompanied by a dark deep sauce (probably some kind of mole) and chilacayotes which one doesn’t often find in restaurants.
For dessert we had the chocolate terrine and the loquat tart. Both were great but I particularly appreciated the tart for its sour hints and the balance it had with the cream it was topped with.
The service was very friendly and polite, waiters circled around but never interrupted the conversation.
I will definitely be back.

Absolutely spectacular. Brand new Michelin Star and it was well earned. Friendly staff, great outdoor seating, and a fun beer selection (wine, too!). The Taramasalata is a must-have. The baba ghanoush that comes with the Bread Service is also fantastic. Definitely will be back!

What a gem of a place!
Ambience: this feels just like a small restaurant in the West Village in NYC. That alone has a massive appeal if you are looking for an intimate, neighborhood like kind of experience.
Service: the staff was so attentive! Eric and Diego were super sweet. We kept talking in Spanish and English. They accommodated whatever language I was comfortable with.
I didn’t felt rushed nor awkward, even though I was dining alone (gotta love business travel)
Food: and then there’s the food… if you’re looking for traditional Mexican food this isn’t the place for you. This is an elevated experience. Definitely playing with the ingredientes, pushing the boundaries of possibilities. I enjoyed every single dish I had. They were all very well executed, well balanced flavors, very tasteful. Would definitely go back if ever in town!

Chef came by and explained every dish we ordered. Very professional and passionate about his work. Each dish was delicious, teasing different parts of the palate with tastes never experienced. Our waitress was very attentive. Kept switching out our used plates and cutlery with fresh clean ones after each plate. Great that she spoke Spanish and English. Wonderful dining experience! Thank you!

A gem in Polanco – intimate and relaxing atmosphere with innovative food and great drinks! The flavors were exciting and unusual, there is a good amount of focus on fermentation techniques but well-balanced. Really wish we were in the city longer so that I could’ve come back to try more dishes. Loved the house-made sausage, fennel and peach salad, and grilled lettuce!

Hidden Gem in a very low-key street – sometimes even hard to find or notice – yet the attention to details, love for quality ingredients , and definitely passion to deliver true and authentic experince is Top Notch ! Well done

Flavorful, posh and overpriced. Maybe a tourist trap. The place can be best described as “cuisine d’auteur” mexican inspired. As expected, portions are small but the place is stingy. You’ll be paying the price of a full meal for two slices of bread.

This was one of our top culinary experiences in CDMX. Quiet little street, quaint atmosphere, amazing service from Diego. We had a fantastic Mexican Sauvignon Blanc and a few small plates. The ceviche was so good that we ordered two. I can’t recommend enough and thank you, Diego, for being such a welcoming and fantastic host

beautiful restaurant with incredibly tasty and creative food. the way that everything on one plate paired together allowed for you to have the perfect bite every time. their non-alcoholic drinks were the best I’ve ever had! everything was so fresh and they list where they get all their ingredients – we actually even saw the chef and his team haul fresh groceries into the restaurant! on top of all this, I am celiac and almost everything was gluten free…10/10 will certainly be back!

Excellent innovative menu, great for sharing, delicious flavors, nice cocktails and most attentive friendly service. Our Argentinian waiter (didn’t get the name unfortunately) spoke excellent English, walked us through the menu and helped us select the food and cocktails. It’s located on a side street, very quiet at night, nice to seat outside. It’s a small place, so reservation is recommended although we were lucky to get a table without a reservation.
