JB, Carlos, and the rest of the team always do an amazing job taking care of their guests. Tonight, we came to celebrate my cousins 21st birthday and it brought back great memories of celebrating my 21st here! I alway get their filet mignon with their garlic mashed potatoes and green beans – it’s a classic! All of their food is delicious and their service is top tier. We have been coming here for 10+ years and the level of passion JB puts into his team and business is phenomenal. He loves Bloomington and Malibu Grill and you can tell! Thank you for always making our dining experiences a 10/10 and for being our choice of restaurant for birthdays and more celebrations!

Stopped in for a quick snack and beer and was blown away by what a lovely establishment this is! Our bar tender was fantastic and very attentive without hovering, the music playlist was fantastic, and the owner popped by to say hello and completely made our day! Love that this is a true small business, now owned by someone that has been with the company since the beginning. The care and attention to every detail here is not lost. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom (they clean the walls of the stall!!). We tried the spinach artichoke dip and it was SO GOOD and blazing hot (so as a food safety nerd, this made me so happy!). In addition to being delicious, the food prices are fair and well worth it for what you get.
Do not sleep on this place – it’s amazing and we can’t wait to come back and come back often!!!

Met college friends back in Bloomington and had to try the Malibu Grill (it had been several years!). Bartender was great as were the food and service. Great menu that will satisfy any appetite. I had the ahi tuna and loved it. We’ll be back!

We’ve been coming to Malibu Grill for years and it never disappoints. The cocktails are consistently fantastic, the seared tuna is a must-order, and the wood-fired pizza is always perfect. On our most recent visit, Iris and Jayce at the bar were absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and clearly great at what they do. We also really appreciate how genuinely kid-friendly the atmosphere is. It’s one of our favorite places to bring our daughter, which makes the experience even better. Always a great meal and great service. Highly recommend!

I went to Malibu grill to celebrate my friend’s successful surgery. It’s one of his favorite restaurants in Bloomington so I decided to take him out and buy him dinner. We had a great experience facilitated by our server Holly from Westfield, Indiana – where my friend was born and raised! She did an amazing job taking our orders, was so kind, and had us cracking up after we asked her about how the old 32nd street strip was holding up in Westfield! I ordered the fish tacos and my friend ordered the caramelized salmon with a couple of beers.
The food came out fairly quickly. The presentation was great. It tasted like home. Holly gave us the perfect amount of attention when it came to water and beer refills.
After my friend’s health troubles, that night at the Malibu Grill felt like a welcome return to some sort of normalcy and comfort for both of us.
We had one of our first great nights in a long time thanks to our server Holly, and the other Malibu Grill employees. Here’s to many more!

All out food was delicious starting with the focaccia bread we ordered for an appetizer. I tried to order the pizza, unfortunately they couldn’t get the wood fired oven to light, so I ordered the BBQ chicken/smoked bacon sandwich (tasted great). My daughter ordered pasta. She said it was really good. She also enjoyed tiramisu for dessert. The waiter was attentive enough and the atmosphere was relaxing.
