I went in for a quick lunch and there wasn’t any wait time at all.The staff seemed friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was clean, well lit and quiet.There were not very many people in the restaurant. I got seated quickly , and someone came to my table quickly.
I think the prices are fairly average for Florida. I ordered the appetizer which was the cheese and artichoke dip. Honestly, it was not great. It tasted like any other supermarket brand that you can buy. It didn’t taste authentic at all – it almost tasted artificial. Not a fan.
The baguettes that it was Served with were good soft, crispy on the edges and overall great flavor for my main meal.
Next for lunch, I ordered the taco shrimp and it was literally sooooo good.. in fact, it tasted fresh, perfectly proportioned and was my favorite of any meal that I’ve ever had there.
The food came out just at the perfect time after finishing my appetizer.
Then for dessert, I ordered a small brownie and it was really good as well. Although really, I didn’t have much room, so only had a few bites of it with the rest to take home.
Overall, the service here is really good. It’s efficient, quick, accurate and friendly. I thought that the pricing was pretty good. .about thirty dollars for my entire meal , which is good considering I had an appetizer , a main meal and then dessert!
I’ll go again for the shrimp tacos, skip that appetizer and dessert.

By far our favorite restaurant to visit. Family friendly, brunch friendly, and date night friendly! The fried asparagus is no longer an appetizer, but you can order it as a side dish! The hand crafted drinks are THE BEST in the area! I don’t know how he does it, but Colin is a gifted bartender who comes up with new drink recipes that never disappoint!

This is the absolute go to place for good food and good drinks! We always order the calamari appetizer and it’s wonderful. The calamari steaks are so tender and cooked too perfection. The drinks are out of this world and Colin is the best bartender. Service is excellent. Emily is one of the best servers they have. Food comes out on time and always hot and delicious. We go every Monday for half price martinis. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a private party recently with family we were visiting in Daytona and our experience was lovely. I’m here with this review because we were so impressed with how well they handled our larger party.
The service was timely, but patient. Service never felt rushed while we sat back and enjoyed each other’s company in the private room.
The drinks were great, and the higher end selections were much appreciated. The food was everything we’ve grown to expect of Malibu Beach Grill. We look forward to our visit each trip to Daytona!
If I had one criticism, it would be that the dining room could use some minor maintenance to bring the space’s presentation in-line with the atmosphere they are going for. Still such a great place regardless!

We are new to the area, and was nervous about trying something new since we have never heard of a Malibu Grille. Fortunately we had an amazing dinner and the food was outstanding. Our hostess, Julia, was so kind and welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. Great experience overall!

I’ve been going to Malibu for years. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Port Orange. I always sit at the bar with Collin, who is one of the best mixologists out there, whether it’s a flavorful cocktail or refreshing mocktail, he can cater to all needs 🙂 Julie the manager is awesome too. She’s always walking around helping the team and always makes it a point to come by and say hi.
There are so many yummy food options to choose from, but my favorites apps are the firecracker shrimp and sizzling mushrooms, any of the chicken dishes with the different toppings, and I usually end with a slice of key lime pie
