The menu size is large especially the drink menu, however for the most part it is more like a bar and grill than a nice shore side restaurant where the prices are high when compared to food quality. The food was okay, some items a little too greasy or dry but would probably return at some point for the lively atmosphere and people.
At the end closer to 10PM everything started to close and turn down quickly. Service was suddenly rushed, we were the last ones to leave which is crazy for a Friday night since they could definitely make more money and keep the energy going until 11PM. Overall if the service and food was a little better for the price and drive over I would rate higher.
I went with the family. We ordered $50 worth of chicken. Everything was so overcooked it was uneditable.
The server was very nice, but she just started
But I remember raynors chicken. When they had the restaurant on sunrise Highway it was incredible. This was the most disgusting stuff I’ve ever had in my life no pride the kitchen is a joke, and I watched dish of the dish coming out with us with all the overcooked chicken.
I understand the restaurant industry they pre-cook the chicken but clearly when they do the double cook they’re let it stay on too long until it’s so edible you can’t even chew it
However definitely not worth the trip.
Fried Chicken Dinner was awful.
Chicken was very dry not like the Raynor’s I remember.
Chicken I remember was cold and crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside.
Corn Fritter and Biscuit were also dry and overcooked.
Do not recommend trying it out very disappointed.
Well after much anticipation, I ordered the fried
chicken diner, and I must say it certainly was the
original one.. definitely tasted like the last chicken
diner that was cooked at the ” Cabin ” ugly, DRY, a
supposed corn fritter, hmm, not! and of course let’s
not forget the biscuit puck, REALLY people ? Maybe
