For the main courses, I got the herb roasted chicken and my wife got the Roasted Salmon. Both were really good and something that I could see myself ordering again. Lastly, they have good iced tea as well if you want a good glass of iced tea.
Overall, everything was good and I would absolutely encourage anyone to give it a try.
I will certainly come back in the future.
The food was delicious. The serving size was enough to take home a little.
I will go again.
The noise level made it difficult to chat – we had a group of 5. If it had been two people, I suspect this wouldn’t be an issue.
Overall, I highly recommend this eatery.
Our server Jose was attentive and friendly.
My wife and I had the Buratta and Prosciutto to start with, and it was excellent, especially spread on Country Bird’s sourdough. The fresh basil made it vibrant and tasty. I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and my wife had the Bucatini. It was flavorful and authentic in all the right ways.
I was impressed by the Peroni on draft, which I don’t often see. The chianti I had with my pasta was a great pairing. And the affogato I had for dessert, paired with Averna, was excellent.
Needless to say Malfi had both of us saying we have to come back and try more dishes. I’m stoked to have an actual good Italian place in Tulsa. I wish I had taken a better photo of some of the foods, but I was busy eating.
We can’t wait to return to try the other dishes
The menu is an old school newspaper style. The menu has many options in for appetizers, pasta and entrees. We shared the White Beans dip with Fresh Herbs, served with toasted sourdough, it was creamy and flavorful. The Salmon with Tabbouli was wonderful, fresh, full of brightness, perfectly cooked salmon with a touch of crust. Lastly we enjoyed the Bolognese, a lighter creamy version, and handmade thin noodles that melt in your mouth. This was an Absolutely Exceptional lunch, one I remember!
If I had any feedback for improvement, I’d say the seating was hard and uncomfortable, not seating I want to linger and stay in for long.
Great lil spot in Brookside, you should try it!
