Tucked away in the corner of Boones Ferry Rd and Reese Rd in Lake Oswego is this cozy little spot offering authentic Thai cuisine with its unique decor. A simple menu, great service and a welcoming space come together nicely to create a memorable dining experience. So if you’re looking for something special and in the area, give this place a try. And, as always, don’t forget to support local and small businesses in your area!

I rate and try Pad Thai across the entire Pacific Northwest, and I can say that this is a very solid choice for an authentic Pad Thai. The portion size was a little lacking compared to other places, but was worth it for the flavor and low price of $12.

Consistency is near perfect for what I would like in a pad thai, but I do feel it goes a little too much towards the limey flavor. If there was more of a savory flavor than a limey flavor to compliement, it would be near perfect (a little too sweet on the sauce as well). The sauce is quite thin and coats the noodles nicely. The presentation and flavor is pretty good though, I would say 8/10 for my scale. Everything is great except flavor is a bit lacking when trying for perfection.

Service was exactly what I would want at a Thai Restaurant. Not too in your face, but my server was paying good attention to my table and when I needed more water and such. 10/10 for service in my eyes. You’re not going to get a fancy restaurant dining service experience here, but you’ll get exactly what would compliment the atmosphere.

This gets 5 stars for Portland standards. If this was Seattle or Vancouver this would be 4.

Great service and atmosphere but the food was just blah. We love the seating area in the restaurant and have come here in the past but this time was really underwhelming. The service was great (a young guy who was very enthusiastic and really hustled to get the food out hot).

I did think it was interesting that the server never noticed that I only ate about 3 bites of my meal, which just wasn’t worth chewing.

Food was not fresh, low quality flavors. Not edible but the pot stickers were ok. I received some thing I did not order, but I could not communicate with the older gentleman since he was not able to speak or understand English very well. The experience was not great. Will not return.

Very happy they were open on Christmas. The restaurant was about 60 degrees inside which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. The green bean chicken was really good but portion was a bit small. The crispy roll was delicious, but again, tiny for the price. The drunken noodle with chicken – not a big fan. You know how some foods taste like certain non food items smell? Wet dog was my take on it. But my table mate quite enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and I would go again.

They have gluten free options-yaaay! The dish I had was tasty…tho I don’t remember the name. Personally I’d prefer a cocktail but they only have wine (maybe beer also). I’ll return to try another dish tho!
Update! I returned a few weeks later with a friend. The food was great as on my first visit. However the service bordered on horrendous. The waiter seemed bothered by our presence. We noticed there was a huge amount of take-out activity and if i ever return to Malees it will be for take-out. Lesson learned.

Both of our dishes, a pad thai and a wide noodle, were very good. I would highly recommend the lettuce wrap appetizer!
Portions were large and seemed very fresh!

My husband and I go there last night for dinner. The service is great; the food is awesome. We ordered Malee’s Curry and Pepper Corn Crunchy Chicken. It was very, very good for both dishes. The restaurant vibe is nice, and the price is reasonable. I and my husband enjoyed it very much and definitely will be back.

Malee’s is the best Thai food in PDX. The food is fresh, delicious, and the portion sizes are excellent. We got a variety of dishes from noodles, appetizers, and protein dishes. They were all fantastic. We can’t wait to come back

Food was good. I ordered the beef satay. ( usually it’s chicken) was good. Tender and juicy. The blood orange was a nice touch. I ordered the boat noodle soup . Was good lots of beef and tasty broth and little veggies. Ordered mine med spice. Yum. Decent price for a good meal.
