We arrived without a reservation yet they gladly sat us at a private window table for two!

Super recommended, wonderful food, great service and excellent atmosphere, we ordered steak, ribs, pasta, vegetables and desserts, my favorite was the entraña, they prepared just the way I expected it. The desserts didn’t make the cut, they must be improved. That was the only reason for the 4 stars.

We visited Pasadena and wanted to treat our aunt to a special dinner. We chose Malbec Argentinean Cuisine. It’s a popular spot, so we booked ahead. When we got there, they seated us quickly. The staff and waiter were really friendly. They gave us good food suggestions since it was our first visit. We tried the ribeye steak, New York steak, and rib steak. All were served hot and tasted great. The wine, a Malbec, went well with the meat. We also enjoyed the sangria. The salmon fettuccine was delicious too. But the best part? The dulce de leche pancakes! If I’m in Pasadena again, I’ll definitely return to Malbec.

Always the best Argentinean seafood, steaks and desert. Chimichurri and breads. Their catering service is also very nice, especially if you like Paella. The chef will bring their 60 inch wokes and cook from the fresh start.

It was my first time eating here. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Juan was an attentive and accommodating server.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here. The selection was very good. We started with a very good Malbec wine, of course, and an order of charred Octopus followed by a fire grilled rib eye that was very good. Also had a side of veal sweetbreads, unusual but delicious! The only slightly disappointing part, and this is strictly a personal choice, was that I expected the beef to taste like Argentinian beef which is amazing. I’m not even sure if it can be imported here? We also had a vegetarian Risotto with pine nuts, butternut squash, burrata and crispy sage. Desert was a dark chocolate gelato. All very good! I recommend calling for reservations because they are quite popular.

Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! I take it back, my property was stolen here from the trunk of my suv. The restaurant wasn’t much help in helping me either. I’m disappointed.

Love this place. It’s fine dining. There’s usually a wait in the evenings on the weekends. We had the short ribs and they were amazing. You could really taste the smoky wood fire grill in the meat. Cooked to precise. Short ribs are usually cooked medium to well done for best taste and they did just that. The cut of the meat is very flavorful. The calamari was very delicious, they gave big portions and it wasn’t just all batter like some places. For the Parking situation, there is some street parking on green street.

It’s our second time back since the pandemic. The place was spruced up and the service was superb. We loved the cazuela del sur and the barramundi special. The sorrentinos and mushrooms was delightful. The short ribs steak was cooked to perfection. The Pacific sole was moist and delicious. The crispy herbed chicken with rosemary potatoes came with a tangy herb and lemon sauce that made the meal. We all loved the well seasoned grilled octopus. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

This place isn’t that big but it’s off the main path. Because of its size, it gets really loud and makes it difficult to talk to the people at your table.
