We went to have lunch for the first time. Unfortunately they were prepping for a private party so we didn’t get to eat in, but fortunately they made us take away food.
First of all a nice building and friendly staff. With some decorations already up I’m sure it’s a fun place to eat. Full menu including breakfast but we kept it simple to take home. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito, it came with green salsa, refried beans, rice, and a small salad. It was huge, flavorful, and delicious and I ate it as 2 lunches. My wife ordered the Carne Asada Tacos. You get 3 and they come with onions, cilantro, salsa, and cut up cucumbers. She really liked hers as well. We were happy with everything and we’ll definitely back for the full experience and more menu choices.

Was excited to try the new restaurant in the neighborhood and it did not disappoint. Very clean and modern inside with great ambience. The staff is great and super friendly. To start we had the chips and salsa and they were very good. For my meal I got the chicken burrito and it was amazing. The rest of the food the others in my party ordered was awesome as well, sampling from the Mexican and Central American sides of the menu. Finished off the night with a pastel de tres leches and it was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the menu. Go give them a visit and say hi to your new favorite place to eat.

Been so excited to try this place ever since its construction started. Finally got a chance to stop in for dinner. Thursday night about 6:30pm after a long super rainy day, we wanted a treat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and walked to our table. The place is beautiful, modern, clean, and spacious. Briefly chatted with our server/host and we learned this is the 2nd location this family owns and operates; the other located in Lakewood called Sabor Criollo Restaurant @ 105 Cedarbridge Ave. (we can’t wait to try now). The entire family is on hand and the hospitality is what you would expect (but rarely actually experience) and they made us feel appreciated and welcome. The food was so fresh and delicious. Guacamole to start, simple and fresh the way it should be – the chips; I know, its just chips, but these are perfect warm crunchy flaky real yellow corn . The burrito was a very generous portion and savory. The tacos fresh delicious with real homemade corn tortillas. I had a cold hibiscus drink and my lady the tamarind, I could easily have drank a gallon of these each. We were stuffed by the end of the meal and struggled to taste a BEAUTIFUL tres leches desert which they brought over to us compliments of the house and it was garnished with fresh strawberries and a beautiful fresh flower! We got the check and the amount was super reasonable for the quality and quantity. Finally the manager came over to greet us and thank us. I have to to say the anticipation of dining here was met with equal if not surpassing execution. Needless to say we will be returning often and highly recommending this to all of our friends family and neighbors. If you live in Brick they deserve your support. If you’re an out of towner or visitor its worth the trip. DO IT!

I wanted to give this new restaurant a try. I’m glad I did, the food was delicious! I was brought a small cup of chicken noodle soup on the house. It was so flavorful I took a cup to go. I started with some chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa was good. I wish the salsa was a little more chunky, but the flavor was good. For my meal I had the chicken burrito. It was very tasty and a nice size portion I could not finish. I will definitely return! I hope this place makes it because Brick could use some good restaurants!

First time here wasn’t a bad experience. I think it’s very pricy for what you get for sure. The receipt was off as well. Seems they are charging another fee or something on top of it because the math isn’t correct. Empanadas were amazing! Pupusas were okay nice flavor. My husband got the seafood soup and he said it was just okay. He wasn’t a fan. But not a bad spot it’s very nice inside. I think there menus pricing needs work. We were going to go to breakfast the other day but the platter we’re almost 19 dollars. Check it out though! Staff are family and they are very nice! The also own another restaurant in Lakewood.

This place is must try! Recently opened in Brick, it offers Central American food! I had delicious pupusas, and a side of sweet plantains. My husband had tacos al pastor. I also had a peach refresher.

I recently visited Malaquita, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly, making sure we were taken care of from the moment we walked in.The food was definitely the highlight. Everything tasted authentic, like a home-cooked meal. My favorite part was the horchata! it was sweet, creamy, and refreshing, the perfect drink to pair with the meal.Overall, I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real Mexican food that’s both flavorful and filling. It’s definitely the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to.

Delicious food! Saw someone mention it on social media and decided to give it a visit. Food is great, service prompt and very attentive. We got the fiesta flight as an appetizer. Good guac, salsa and Pico. We even had chimichanga leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Went with a friend for lunch for the first time this past weekend. We were met with smiles from the staff and were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the entire establishment. Great first impression, but the most important part? The food was excellent. We’ll be back. Looking forward to trying dinner!
